The hotel has an excellent location, so close to the historic centre of the lovely town. Rooms simple, but then the price is very reasonable. A very good breakfast was served and was included in the room rate.

Hotel is aging but still acceptable. Rooms are small, beds are okay. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was part of the deal and not bad at all. Free Wifi worked perfect in our room( 3th floor backsite) Staff very friendly and helpfull. Private parking for 15€ a day

I arrived early, about 12:00, and was very pleased to be given my room. The hotel is near the city centre, and like much of Leuven there is little traffic so it is quiet. The room was typical of a budget hotel although there was a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast started at 07:00 and was a standard... More

The location of the hotel is quite central and the whole city center is reachable on foot. Otherwise the impression was an aging ok hotel. The stairs and the elevator are quite narrow, so bigger people or luggage should be careful. The room was clean, but quite small and the bed should've been replaced some years ago (bot mattresses were... More

I was very impressed by the staff at the Hotel New Damshire. The front desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast manager was attentive and friendly. Rooms are not fancy, but clean and there is reliable wifi. Just a few minutes walk from the main town square. Great visit!

Location is great. Breakfast is great, continental, but plenty offered. Rooms are good. Free wireless. Very narrow staircase, use extra caution. Free parking but, we were blocked in the morning we were to leave. All in all, a great place to stay in Leuven.

Standard rooms, you couldn't swing a cat. However we were there to just experience Leuven and this was an ideal location, minutes from the main square. Don't get sucked into eating on the square as we did as there are fantastic restaurants in the back streets. Drink prices vary dramatically, there is a cuban opposite the hotel with free wifi... We had a really good overnight stop at the New Damshire whilst driving from England to Germany. We found the hotel really easily. There are a number of pedestrianised roads, one-way streets and blocked off roads in Leuven so you need to plan your route into the hotel beforehand (don't just rely on a sat-nav - look it up on... The Hotel New Demshire is a nice cozy city hotel, close to the square, and many restaurants and pubs in Leuven. The hotel was a bit hard to find, and the taxi driver had problem finding the way. The room we got was very small, but the bathroom had good size. It even had a bathtub. The amenities selection was... More

We spent two weeks at the New Damshire recently visiting family in Leuven. So much to like in terms of location, great breakfast but most importantly, the staff were just so friendly and welcoming. It is three stars in view of bathroom (small but clean) and room facilities (no jug to boil water for tea, coffee) but it is very... More
