Just across a large plaza from the train station. Especially good when raining. Front desk reception very, very helpful though unable to delete payment for our night missed because of an Eurostar cancellation from UK. Large very simple clean room, bare floor, spare furnishings but adequate. WC in separate little room from bath/shower and basin. Small lotion and shampoo but... More

This hotel is located close to the railway station, so you have to take a tram to get to the old city center (10-15 min). But location is good, staff is helpful, rooms are clean but not very spacious. There is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor. The only bad thing was a smell from the bathroom.

Loved the location and the size of the rooms. Great showers and comfortable beds. The best was the location next to the train station and we dropped our luggage and walked to town. The receptionist was so helpful with information about the city and restaurants. And the breakfast was terrific. Lots of selections, eggs, bacon and pastries. Everyone was really... More

The room, which I stayed in was always cold in the evenings as the heater didn't work. It was dark, when it got dark outside, and only the table lamps only worked. The great way to get around is by tram number 1, which was free. Don't ask anyone at the travel centre in the train station about travelling by... More

This hotel is well positioned near railway and buses. It is clean and the beds are very comfy. The breakfast is generous with a good range of products. The receptionist who also managed breakfast was very pleasant and nothing too much trouble

When we saw the hotel from outside we got very weird vibes, it doesnt look very good. But once inside you have a very different prospective, the interior are nothing fancy but good enough and clean and the staff are very helpful and nice. Our room had a very big window and it was very big, clean and warm although... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Made sure we were in an appropriate room for travelling with a young baby and provided a very good cot for our little one too. Made us feel welcome as a young family. Great tip about half price tickets for the trains at the weekend.Thank you

Excellent staff, good food and close to the center. Just take tram 1. My room was clean and cozy. If you go for a weekend trip to Gent, then I will recommend you to stay in this small family hotel. We had a great time.

We stayed for two nights. Location; very near to station. Which is great if you're planning a day trip away (to Brugge for example, like we did). Also great if you want to leave Ghent by train early morning. For these reasons, the hotel is well located. But to get to the centre it's a 30 minute walk. It's not... More
