Spacious motorhome pitches separated by hedges.Toilet facilities were adequate and clean but in need of some TLC. Perfect site for a visit to Ghent, cycle track all the way to the city from site. Close to a sports centre and restaurant on site.

Great site. Great toilet block, on site activities for the kids, plenty of space and peaceful but friendly site... Smashing!! We would come again without a doubt. Lots to do. On site shop and free wifi!

Great motorhome pitches but facilities could be cleaned more thoroughly and frequently Toilets and showers were cleaned I guess but always seemed to be a bit grubby and tired. On site restaurant served canteen type food that seemed to come from the adjoining chip shop and shop was low on stock. Busses to town were convenient and the nearby lake... More

We visited this site three years ago and were so disappointed to see how it had deteriorated. The facilities were dirty and in a poor condition. We understand the site is to be taken over by a private company in January and appears to be being run down. We complained and some attempt was made to address our concerns but... More

Deceptive access - hidden beyond an extensive sports complex. Friendly arrival. Pitches large but rough and rugged. 50m electric hookup lead required and crosses over/around neighbouring pitches. Electric blew as soon as the kettle was switched on - unhappy, rude attendant insisted that it was our equipments' fault, we insisted that as this was out 6th campsite on the continent,... More

Have read staff not helpful! But found that couldn't have been further from the truth. Move pitch no problem, how to get to ghent centre no problem. You will need a long extention 50m, but we did not so moved pitch to accommodate, but they do have extentions and also sell in shop. Shops got the essentials. Restaurant does descent... More

Such a shame that the place is so run down. No proper staff to clean the amenities, complaining and grumpy women in the reception who seem to forget that we pay them a lot of money for staying there. Very expensive for the night. Earie feeling of the place. The typical scenario of a place that thinks there's no need... More

Blaarmeersen camping has what we needed. We spent one night in our VW California. 29€ We got a place close to bathroom/toilet. But we preferred another one, which was renovated. Cleaness average. The campside is lovely with trees, spacey places and is divided into smaller parts. But unfortunately you cannot avoid the noise from the motorway. Very helpfull staff and... More

But now sadly, litter, over grown hedges, churned up pitches, shower blocks not cleaned often enough, don't get me wrong, this place is good compared to some but awful to what it was, two years ago it was spotless, but now lacking in daily maintenance. The picture is/was a path
