Stayed here at the end of December for 3 nights. Really nice unique place to stay. The owner Sven was really helpful and provided a great continental breakfast in the morning. Our room was nicely furnished and warm. Highly recommended.

This Hotel, has nice clean rooms with a wonderful view on the water. But above all the owner treaths his guests with a personnal touch. It is more like you stay at the home of the owner. He is Always ready to help or answer to your questions.

Stayed for 3 nights, lovely, easy walking along the canal to the medival centre. The boat has 5 rooms, we were in the one of the two larger rooms. It was basic, but clean, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was lovely and quiet. It was in March we went, so cold, but I was not aware...

Great place! Sven the owner is a wonderful host. Place is immaculate. Bed is really comfy. Location is close to the centre, but far away enough that it is peaceful and quite. Great value. Wish we stayed longer

Loved staying in the Boatel! Sven was very helpful and hospitable! He drew out a perfect route for us on a map to see all there was to see. Great filling breakfast. Comfortable and clean room. Fun experience! If we are ever in Gent again I'll be staying here!

We stayed one night and occupied two rooms, one "Single Room with Bathroom" and one "Double Room with Private Bathroom." I was in the double room, and it was exceptionally comfortable. The bed was amazing, and I got the best sleep of my trip that night. Our bathroom came with a tub and shower, and the tub was spacious and...

I stayed here with my parents on our trip through Belgium. Both my parents and I had a fantastic stay. Sven was a great host, a real authentic Gent-guy, very helpful with all the infos about Gent and Belgium. The stay on a boat was a great experience. To be honest, the room was unexpextedly big and comfortable, it felt...

This was a surprise from my partner on our long weekend in Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. Sven, the owner, welcomed us on board and showed us our room - very clean, nice ensuite, and free ducks swimming past the two portholes all day! Central heating on board for those chilly evenings. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of very fresh rolls, bread,cakes,...
