Quite a special place in the Belle Epoque style and antique details such as the beautiful stairway. Staff (owners ?) are very friendly, a coffee was offered when checking in! The city center is at a walking distance, a tramway is within a 100 m. Parking (at 15€ per night) is available and is a good option. Breakfast is excellent....

A very nice and interesting room and bathroom. A good breakfast buffet. The hotel has a lot of antique details ans is very impressing. It is nearby the center of Gent and it has his own garage. You easy can walk from the hotel to the center and otherwise you can take the tram.

A beautiful hotel in the Belle Epoche style, with great comfort and hospitality. Also great for visiting Ghent. If you appreciate fine architecture and original features from the 19th Century, this is the place for you!

For an officially 2 star hotel, this is excellent. 1840s building, an ex-business baron's house, with many original features, it makes a pleasant change from plastic business hotels. got here late, post 11pm, and was given a very friendly welcome plus a refreshment which was a nice touch. creaking floorboards, and tired looking decor only helped confirm that this is...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and beautiful. The breakfast room brings you back and makes you feel like you are sitting in a old dining hall. The breakfast was very varied and plentiful.

This hotel was great, with excellent service and buffet breakfast. We stayed two nights. Parking was our only issue, and although we had a spot reserved inside at $15 Euros, the 2 nd night, right outside the front a spot was open when we returned at 10 pm. The next morning our car was towed away, as the construction crews...

We were made to feel so welcome and offered a welcome drink once we had checked in. The staff showed so much passion for the hotel and Gent that we booked a 2nd...

This is a lovely old clothiers house 15 minutes walk from the centre of town and right by a tram line if you don't fancy the walk. The indoors is sumptuously decorated with high ceilings and ornate original features. The couple running it are professionally qualified in the hotel industry and making a really great go of their first hotel....

An excellent choice for Ghent. The hotel has a great vintage character that works perfectly with the city's image. In addition, the staff is very friendly and eager to help and the breakfast delicious! Definitely worth staying.
