Turned up late and out of season, but the owner was happy to let me stay. Good showers, the rest of the facilities seemed ok. Nice area, I can imagine it gets very busy. Lots of trails for running, hiking and biking. Along with the activity centre which seemed like it was running limited (pre season) activities still. Hopefully I'll...

Matthijs is an excellent host. He is welcoming and accommodating to the needs of his guests. We were three families with young children and there was lots to keep us occupied. We stayed for 5 nights over the F1 and this campsite was absolutely perfect for us. We got totally lost and didn't arrive until 10pm, yet reception was still open and the guy quickly showed us to our pitch and said we could comeback and pay another time (it was almost dark and we had a tent to pitch!) We stayed here for 3 nights to see the Tour de France this year. The site is very laid back and friendly. The toilet blocks are basic but clean - you use a token (1 euro each)for a 5 minute shower. The site is well situated to get to Spa and other local towns and Coo itself is really pretty...

Nice little campsite next to the river Ambleve. Small bar with simple food. Nice village with other restaurants, lots of things to do in the area, walking, outdoor, kayak. Next to the touristique towns of Stavelot, Spa, Malmedy and Troispont.
