This is my second stay at The Hotel Dominican. If you travel to the Midi station from the airports/eurostar, it is about a 20-25 minute walk or 10 minutes on the metro. The nearest metro stop is De Brouckere and the hotel is situated behind the Theatre Royal. We were able to secure a fantastic rate for 2 nights. (100...

We travel regularly and look for interesting hotels. This one met the test: handsome, well located, and with a terrific staff. Rooms are one the smaller side, which is typical for Europe, but beautifully appointed and intelligently designed. Beds are very comfortable, and A/C and internet work well. Staff was outstanding: effortlessly multilingual, friendly, and truly interesting in engaging their...

As a frequent business traveller, I visit Brussels almost every other week. Dominican is always my first choice, if I can get a good rate around EUR 120, I always stay there. Sometimes it gets too expensive, over EUR 200, then I go elsewhere... Why do I like this place? Big, clean rooms. Very modern shower (and bath sometimes). Big...

My wife and I spent five nights at The Dominican in July of 2013. The well appointed hotel is located close to the central square, the museums, the metro station and the cathedral. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The bar at The Dominican was excellent but pricy.

We stayed for a long weekend in a deluxe room, air con, king size bed, which was too soft, shower, no bath, Nespresso coffee maker, couch and desk, large flat screen TV. Nice decor, but I have stayed in better 4 star rooms for less than half the price, breakfast alone was £27 per person, which I considered exorbitant. Staff...

We arrived at 11am on Saturday and our rooms were already ready which was great. Friendly reception staff greeted us. Rooms are lovely - spacious, big bathroom with plenty of towels and a huge bed which is amazingly comfortable and has great pillows so we had great nights sleep. Our room overlooked an internal courtyard so was nice and quiet....

The Dominican is like the ultimate romantic getaway. Located right in the center of Brussels, 5 minutes away from the beautiful Town Hall square to which you can get through the first shopping arcades ever built in Europe and some charming little streets flanked with restaurants. The Dominican is all about dim lights, candles, fresh cut flowers, soft music, and...

We stayed here for three nights over the weekend and it was great. Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff (perhaps with the exception of the bar staff) and great value. My boyfriend and I stayed in Brussels for three nights in August with my sister and her husband. Firstly, the location is fantastic, within a few minutes walk of The Grand Place and many good shops/restaurants. There was a train station within 5 minute walk where it was really easy to get to some sights a bit further out, however...
