The Metropol hotel although renovated it is still old or at least I was in a really old room. No kettler in room also. But having in mind its reach history and Art Deco design - one feels special to sleep in it. The breakfast is buffet with a big choice, staff nice and polite. Tip - have a kir...

I stayed at the Hotel Metropole on my recent trip to Europe. I was only in Brussels for one night, but nevertheless, it was a great experience. The Hotel Metropole is very large and pretty. It has a classic style, and I felt as though I had stepped back into a very elegant era. The service is friendly and the...

Charming old building. However, I was put into a room that was exposed to so much noise that sleep was impossible. And the internet (when trying to kill time at night) did nor work at all. Never had such bad hotel in my life.

If you want to be centrally located in a historic hotel then here you go. However service and age shows the hotel up in an average to weak light. My check in experience was poor. My first impression of my room was poor. Walking around a hotel in a maze to find one amenity and the next further gave credence...

Classic old world style hotel. Gracious lobby, elegant street-level bar/restaurant, large outdoor dining area. Bright, sunny breakfast room with well-stocked buffet or continental option. Room was spacious and elegant. Staff was friendly. Location is superb -- we walked everywhere. Would definitely stay again.

Believe it or not, but when we just wantrd to go pee without goîng up first (ladies, I'm sure you understand) they bluntly refused and even got violent...

WOW. What a stunning hotel. Pretty much in the heart of the city and only a short walk from everything you'd want to visit. It's like stepping back in time but with a modern pinch of technology. This place has knocked my socks off. Seriously to sum up quickly, affordable, palatial, polite & friendly staff, very comfortable and well decked...

We had a great stay at the Metropole. The interior is incredible. The staff are extremely helpful and the location of the hotel itself is good as its near the Grand Place. The only problem we had was booking through a third party so maybe I would go directly through them.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in Brussels and we booked this hotel based on its location and pictures on the hotel site and by reviewers. Check-in was quick and friendly. We got a room in the older section of the hotel which was a bit strange to get to consider we had to take an elevator and...
