I stayed at Aris for three nights in beginning of August 2012. I didn't expect it to be a five-star fancy hotel. It was very convenient and the neighborhood was actually a lot of fun, easy to go anywhere, including the train station, the Grand Place and the restaurant district. Helpful staff at the front desk. The room itself was... More

The rack rate for this hotel in the centre of Brussels is 250 euros for a double room, 270 for a twin. I am so pleased that we did not have to pay that. The room was small and very dated. The blanket on the bed looked as though it had not been washed for a very long time. Fortunately,... More

I stayed at this hotel in June 2012. It's a basic hotel in a great location. The room size is normal by European standards. Very simple decor, clean but small bathroom. The breakfast was typical with cereal, yogurt, eggs, jams, etc. othing fancy but very convenien location.

Perfect location in the middle of things. A little noisy, but what's expected. Very nice girl working reception, but beds not the greatest and rooms small. Wouldn't let us check in early, but at least they let us leave our suitcases in the back room. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights, and all the rooms were a little below... More

Stayed for 2 nights - arrived at 11am and they were more than happy to check us in right away (says the check-in time is 3pm). Room was very clean - lovely bath/shower, beds were nice and there was lots of space. TV was small, but only had Belgian channels on it anyway. Staff were very friendly and quick, and... More

In the heart of the city center very convenient location. Given the time of the year and location the price was really good everywhere was at least double the amount we paid. It's a place to keep your stuff and sleep nothing too fancy but clean and basic.

I am used to trading "no frills" hotels for a good location a la the Rick Steve's travel philosophy. And I recognize that old charm means old plumbing and odd rooms at times. This place, however, was more like a Charles Dicken's orphanage. I don't think the carpets or bedspreads have been cleaned in 20 years. If you have allergies,... More

The hotel location is right next to the train station we came into (centraal). It was also incredibly convenient to a lot of the sites we were going to which was nice for our first stop in a 12 day journey through Europe. The room itself was a little outdated but not horrible. I can't comment on sleeping quality too... More
