Rooms have recently been feburbished including new bathroom. Plenty of space. Quiet. Breakfasts were great . Usual cold buffet and order your hot food to order. Would definitely go back. Great location by the canal with local beer houses and restaurants close by.

When travelling to Mechellen I always try and stay in the Ve. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Great breakfast choice. They now serve evening meals in the recently refurbished restaurant/bar. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Always a favourite.

The hotel is an Old fish smoke house and cigar factory in Mechelen. Very cleverly done with a modern feel about the hotel. Really interesting place and lots of bars and restaurants directly outside hotel entrance. Parking is in underground carpark next to Novotel and lift come out almost opposite hotel on opposite side of canal. Only three minute walk...

Short 2 night stay. This hotel is in an ideal location, easily walkable around Mechelen. The mornings and evenings the streets are filled with bikers of all ages. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast of expensive, but plenty of options outside the hotel.

Stayed overnight en route to Germany. Lovely city, but arrived during annual music event, so could not access hotel as town centre closed off. Receptionist helpfully explained how we could access nearest car park (which was nearby, good and secure - though 16€ for 24 hours) lovely city and hotel well placed near centre. Good and comfortable room, but significant...

Stayed here last weekend for one night after a wedding party. We live only 15minutes drive from the hotel and we know Mechelen very well. Comfort and luxury is perfect. Nice and comfy beds. Low noise rooms which is very important because the "vismarkt" has lots of drinking and eating opportunities and they can be noisy. The old elements in...

Neat modern hotel located in two historic buildings. One was being renovated during my visit. To explore Mechelen centre this is probably as central as you can be. The town itself is a gem, and this hotel is located at a square with many cafe's, restaurants and terraces that can be quite crowded with students as soon as the sun starts...

Small Mechelen has a very nice square with restaurants and a congress centre. The hotel is right in the middle of it in front of the river. The hotel is very modern inside and the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The staff at reception were brilliant. I didn't have time to use the spa facilities but they look really...

The hotel is ideally located in the city center of Mechelen, with nice restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are cosy and comfy, furbished with quality materials. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not eat lunch or dinner in the hotel's restaurant so I cannot comment on that, but breakfast was fine. As my trip...

Had to work over the weekend and this was a great choice. Whilst the Restaurant is closed on Sunday & Monday there are plenty of choices in the square. Hotel room was good and quiet, as it was at the back. Will be back again I am sure. The hotel at the front is the old fish market and the...
