Situated in historical centre of Delft. Some rooms overlooking city others have canal view. Museums, shops and restaurants in 5 minutes walking distance. 45 minutes from Amsterdam, 15km from Rotterdam and the Hague. 500m from Railway- bus station. Paid parking next to the hotel. Perfect location for business or touristic outings. The hotel offers weekend packages: stay three, pay two nights.
This hotel is in a perfect location in the heart of old Delft. It is also a mere 7 min walk from the train station. Set in a period house on a lovely canal it’s perfectly situated for the old town.
The building itself has some charm with nice little nooks to sit in. The staff were friendly and the buffet cold breakfast was excellent. Good range of cold food and fresh pancakes too.
My only issue is how they define the rooms. We travelled as 2 couples and both of us had booked ‘luxury’ rooms. Our friends had a lovely room on the second floor with a large bathroom, electrically adjustable bed, quality furniture and period features such as a fireplace / coloured glass windows. Ours however was an attic room on the upper floor. It was very dark and charmless. It was a family room with an unnecessary (for our purposes!) second single bedroom. I appreciate that the darkness of the room is part and parcel of being in an old building but the room was totally lacking in charm. The furniture was of the cheap mdf sort and not matching. The beds didn’t have headboards nor the hi-tech adjustable option that our friends had had. There was very little consideration of the decor and the overall look was somber and frumpy. Like a characterless 2 star. The bathroom was nice but smaller than that enjoyed by our friends. In short, nice hotel but beware the ‘luxury’ tag. This room was very basic.
For our first-ever trip to Delft, we chose the Hotel Leeuwenbrug and found it delightful - just perfect for our four-night stay. Our room, number 9, looking out on to the canal, was charming with stained-glass windows, a stylish wooden fireplace and a modern state-of the-art bathroom (brilliant shower!) and comfortable beds. Internet worked just fine. The continental breakfast buffet was very tasty. The members of staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and all spoke good English, as does seemingly almost everyone in the Netherlands. The location is optimal -- less than ten minutes' walk to the station and less than five to the historic town centre. If you are coming by car, you would be best advised to drive straight to the Zuidpoortgarage and walk the rest as navigating Delft's narrow lanes and one-way systems can be challenging. Unlike some of the other reviewers on here, we had no trouble using the keypad to get in after 10 o'clock.
The hotel is very close to the city center and the main attractions of Delft. It is also very close to the train station. The single room I had was OK - the bathroom was renovated, but the main room was not, and the towels were not in a good condition. The heating system did not operate very well. The breakfast was OK for a 3star hotel. The personnel was very polite and helpful. The fact that there is no reception during night is a little stressful.
Thank you for your review. our opening hours In case of emergency we are 24/7 available and in the house. You need to pick up the phone. Have you overlookded the phone number on the key card handed over on arrival.? . kind regards LB team
My partner and I are currently staying in Hotel Leeuwenbrug. We have quite a long stay here, 10 nights. The room we are in has dark brown carpets which have not been deep cleaned in many months. The walls are dirty with marks on them. The bathroom is exceptionally small and very poorly designed. When you shower the entire bathroom gets wet and as a result you have to use towels to dry the floor. You would think that the staff would realize this and provide you with extra bathroom floor mats. The level of dust in the room indicates that the dust around the furniture, light fittings etc have been there for a very long time. The hotel advertises free WiFi with their rate. This is not true. We have not had unbroken WiFi services since we were here. When we asked reception we were told they would have to check the router and then again today when we asked reception said again that the router will have to be checked and that it will be raised with the manager. We asked that the reception contact the manager today and was told he’s unavailable as it’s a Saturday. But our complaint was made during the work week and no action has been taken. When we explained that the hotel advertises WiFi as part of the rate and we are paying for our data as the WiFi is not working we do not get a response. Breakfast is abysmal. They offer you cold meats, cheese and bread and hard boiled eggs. When we request a soft boiled egg or anything else the staff recite a firm no. When we further asked if they have a pot in their kitchen to boil an egg the staff said they don’t. As a result we have not been having breakfast at the hotel. All in all this hotel is utterly poor value, appalling service, no WiFi, bad breakfast.
The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and also from the Markt. You can walk to both of the pottery factories in less than 25 minutes. The breakfast buffet is included and very satisfying.

From the train station, follow BARBARA Steeg to OUDE DELFT, immediately turn right to follow BREESTRAAT, turn left to KOORNMARKT, the hotel is on your right.
