We stayed in early August 2015 for 3 nights. Didn't have much contact with the desk as we were out all day returning just after dinner. The room was dated however they had the most comfortable beds in all the hotels we stayed in Europe. Great spot to explore other places besides Amsterdam.

Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! We stayed 5 nights in the Kleine Hout 1, which is on the first floor and it was clean and spacious. The apartment was nicer than we expected. It was one block from a canal, so evening walks was a must. Frans Hals Museum is a short walk away from town. Since Haarlem is...

This is a great place to stay with everything a traveler needs. There is no elevator in the building, so someone with physical limitations must check carefully to see if there are ground floor apartments. Our 1st floor apartment included a beautiful large porch that was great for afternoon cocktails. The housekeeping staff does a fantastic job everyday.

Service and customer attention are not exactly the strongest assets of this hotel. Apparently after 5.00 pm no reception any more, and a do it yourself reception procedure. We did not know this, although we had informed on our booking that we would be arriving at 19.30h. We left home, from Belgium, 15.00 hr and had a three hours drive...

A Hotelsuites apartment is a good choice for those who want to be self-sufficient. We stayed in the Suite Gravin and found it to be comfortable and very spacious for just two people. There was an attic floor that we didn't even use. Other reviewers have noted that it is quiet, but we heard quite a lot of noise from...

Our suite/apartment in the heart of the historic district was incredible -- recently renovated, with kitchen and terrace, and large comfortable bed. Bathroom was a tad compact, but gorgeous. This is perfect for a stay of more than a couple of days as you can eat some meals at the suite. Did we mention that the French bakery downstairs provides...

I had a lovely stay here for a wedding and the large lounge area was perfect for my friends and I to relax in after the ceremony and before the reception. It was a very well presented and equipped apartment and the sun terrace would have been lovely in the sun, even the strange extra room outside was nice. The...

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The rooms are large and stark. It was cold the night we stayed and we couldn't get the heat to work. Thank goodness they had lots of covers on the bed.

I stayed my last night at the Haarlem hotel suites( Lange Veer 2), having stayed my prior 2 nights at the next door Brasss Hotel(Diamonds of the sea and Rode Mul) After having 2 great nights at the Brasss suites, the Lange Veer 2 suite was a nightmare. The wifi in the room was not fit for purpose. Tried having...
