Traditional business class hotel in excellent location close to Grote Houtstraat and bus stops. The attached restaurant has been stylishly updated and the breakfast is excellent. We also had a light dinner here as well and service and food was top notch. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's a good alternative location...

Large, clean room, small balcony, bathrobs and slippers, large bathroom and very comfortable beds. Breakfast start at 7 AM and is more than enough, and Carlton Squre sure...

This hotel is the absolute pearl of Haarlem. The hotel and its staff breath hospitality true everything they do. We had a wonderful welcome at check in with a glass of prosecco or champagne. The lobby looks warm and welcoming. The rooms where super well cleaned. Little bit old fashion but we did not mind at all. The restaurant of...

This was our third Christmas in a row staying at this fabulous hotel. For us it was like returning home rather than starting a holiday! The warmth of the staff and the familiarity of the surroundings was just the start we needed. The location of this hotel, at the end of the Grote Hout Straat, which is the main pedestrian shopping street, makes it an ideal location from which to venture out on your exploration of Haarlem. There are several museums within walking distance, including the famous Frans Hals museum. The St. Bavo cathedral, where Mozart once played and the grand old...

room was nice and comfortable, not too small with a good bathroom. On the plus side there were coffee making facilities in the room which we appreciated. Another plus was no silly mini-bar. The hotel is well located to wander into town. Parking in the hotel is quite expensive as is breakfast.

And we couldn’t agree more about our location, perfect for all you ever want to do in Haarlem or Amsterdam. This hotel is nearly perfect. Good location near the charming city center of Haarlem. Very nice restaurant and bar, with excellent breakfast buffet. Above all: outstandingly nice and helpful staff. Why not 5 stars then? Two minor irritations. First: parking in the building is a rip off at 30€ per day. You can park in the street, but it is...
