Hotel V is really easy to find, several trams stop outside and across the road tram 4 takes you straight to rembrantsplein although it would take only 10 mins to walk there. The hotel has friendly receptionists and free tea & coffee at the bar, the sitting area at the front of the hotel has a unique fire/sofa area with...

Just came back from our stay at this hotel, we only decided to go to Amsterdam the day before leaving and I was surprised to be able to find good room rates for our stay (weekdays) so we went ahead and booked this hotel. We were not disappointed but the hotel is not perfect either. My experience on the different...

V is one of those independent hotels combining modern design and low overhead service with a (relatively) friendly prices. It attracts your usual mix of young tourists and creative business travelers. Situated near the center of Amsterdam it is in walking distance of the things to see and do. We stayed there for our agency outdays and found it well...

Hotel V was a great find - classy designer rooms, stunning lobby area, friendly and helpful staff, and well positioned to see some of Amsterdam's best neighbourhoods. We arrived early and were actually given our choice of 3 rooms, which was great as we could go with our favourite. We were on the 2nd floor, with good views over the...

Stayed in Hotel V on a stopover and enjoyed our stay. The open plan reception/restaurant area is welcoming and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room that we had was a good size and very clean with a powerful shower and good quality toiletries. The addition of a bedside table, tea and coffee facilities and good...

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel V. However, the warmth of the fireplace in the lobby was in stark contrast to our freezing room! We stayed in one of the top floor loft-style rooms which was cosy but with literally no heat in the bathroom and only one small radiator heater for the bedroom our room was never comfortably...

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel V Frederiksplein. I'm glad you had a great stay, just sorry to hear that you were so cold in your room! But rather than only visiting us in the warmer months (as this is Holland and you might have to wait a long, long time for...

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Amsterdam. Great location and the tram stop is right outside! Free breakfast every morning which had a bit of everything and free tea or coffee throughout the day. Hotel is very trendy. The only thing is that the rooms are quite small. We payed a little extra ( €10 per night) and got...

Thank you for the lovely review! We do realize that the rooms tend to run on the small side, so it's good to hear that you decided to upgrade in the end. We hope you do stay again, and if you need anything, be sure to let us know! Kind Regards, Amanda Guest Relations Manager

This is an excellent hotel, the first impression in the lobby/bar area is superb and very welcoming. The staff were first class, recommending restaurants and things to do (try Bar Moustache for great Brunch/Lunch and Barca for a nice Tapas). Breakfast was a very good quality continental with plenty of choice. We had an XL room which was a great...

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel V Frederiksplein! We are glad to hear that you had a good time, only sorry that the noise was a bit of an issue. Because this is an official monument building, the city of Amsterdam didn't let us install double-glazing so as not to compromise the...
