Myself and my two friends booked the triple room and it was perfect, we decided to push all three single beds together which was a right laugh. The bathroom was lovely and clean and we had more then enough room in the hotel with a large window. We didn't eat at this hotel as we wanted to eat in the centre. We also found the journey to central station perfect, 5 minute walk to Sloterdijk Station and bus stop, €24 for a 4 day pass for the bus, metro and tram, we got he 22 bus to the centre. We got food from the Spa outside the station and put it the mini fridge provided. This hotel was amazing the location and the room. I highly recommend.
Shocked to be charged ‘city tax’ of €76 , not the expected €7. Nice decor and rooms, don’t pay €20 for the birthday package it is not worth the few blown up balloons and chocolate. Breakfast worth pre paying for, and good distance to the train station which is one stop away from the central.
Haven’t got a bad word to say about this hotel. Myself and my boyfriend booked the hotel as we found it was very affordable & in our budget. The hotel isn’t located directly in the centre of town but it didn’t take long to get there at all via tram / bus. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t help enough. The hotel itself was spotless, as well as our room. The bed was extremely comfortable with extra pillows if needed. I really don’t have a bad word to say. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Amsterdam!
We stayed in a double room for three nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom was clean and provided a small fridge, a water heater, a hairdryer and a TV. The breakfast provided a variety of drinks and food. Breadrolls, toast, cereals, fruits, honey, different marmalades, smashed eggs, bacon and beans. Coffee, tea and orange- and applejuice. There is also a bar and a nice sitting area in the lobby. One night we woke up because of a squeeky sound, maybe by the heater or the air conditioning. We spoke to the reception and they had a look. The following night was fine again. Not sure if it just stopped or they were able to fix it, but they reacted very nicely. Sometimes you hear noise from other rooms, but nothing too disturbing. We think the price-performance-ratio was totally fine.…
We stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend. Yes the hotel isnt in the city centre. But it took us 10mins on the train from the airport. And 5mins on the train to amsterdam central. The train station is a couple of mins walk from the hotel. First impressions arent great as the area is under construction from every angle. The hotel was lovely and warm and the lobby was very comfy. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was half decent for the price we paid included in our booking. We didnt use the bar or restaurant so cant comment. The place was clean and the wifi was decent. Our room was abit smaller and darker than made to look on the pictures. We had a lovely view of a crane outside. There was a kettle fridge and hairdryer and some toiletries which was a nice touch. The TV was useless, couldnt even find anything to put on in the background, no radio or music channels, no connection for our phone, all channels were italian or arabic. We found quite alot of silverfish insects in the room over the weekend which spoiled the trip, although they are harmless they are so ugly and fast they just creeped us out and we found ourselves constantly looking for them. Based on this we wouldnt return.…
