overall, there was a sense of luxury, but it was discreet luxury. it was not ostentatious nor pretentious, but very thoughtful and genuine: very spacious room, galley and bathroom; lovely bathroom amenities; very comfortable bed; the very large and long sofa was also extremely comfortable. and very important, the staff were friendly and helpful staff, always present and ready to help, should we require help, again, very discreet. the location was exactly what we needed, and very convenient for our purposes. Disliked · 1. the booking process was a bit complex as the computer system was not working very well and I did not get a callback as planned. 2. I would suggest to put a stool or small chair in the bathroom. the bathroom is so nice and spacious, that I would want to sit down eg to dry my hair in there, rather than standing up, and there is ample room for a small chair or convenient stool. 3. I would suggest to have somewhat nicer china (porcelain) for guests' use. for the price of the suite, one would expect the porcelain to be a little more pleasant, rather than so Ikea-like. I'm sure there are affordable brands of good Dutch porcelain, not quite Delft, that look nicer and go better with the discreet luxury of the surroundings…

One of the best visits, we have ever experienced The staff were very friendly and helpful. They guided us to all the right places and we had a great time. The best part of it, was that we visited for my partners birthday. After discussion with the staff they organised the most memorable surprise with little touches that made it so unique. We stayed 3 nights at the Luxury suites Amsterdam and it was very pleasant! The rooms and bathrooms were large. Beds were very comfortable. My husband has a hard time sleeping but he slept through the night staying here. I would definitely recommend and stay here again! Everyone was very friendly and helpful as well. Location was also great! You’re right off the canal but within walking distance to several restaurants as well.

Boutique hotel with extra large rooms in the old town of Amsterdam. We were in an Imperial Suite which was 95m2. Huge and excellent value for the price. Oversized bathroom and kitchenette with stove, dishwasher and microwave, loungeroom and looking over the canal. No musty smells in the room from rising damp which is great. We had breakfast included and it was excellent quality with croissants, breads, juice shots, fruit salad, porridge and a selection of tasty hot meals. Staff are friendly and very helpful. 24 hour hour desk. They don't serve dinner or lunch which isn't an issue as there are so many delicious restaurants near by. The hotel had a driver pick us up from the airport included in our stay.

We loved this hotel! Great canal view and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Close enough to walk to everything but out of the hustle of the city center and red light district. We enjoyed the quite payed back atmosphere and the view from the room really made the stay!

From the complimentary transportation (large Mercedes van to accommodate all our luggage) to the free room upgrade, this property was superb. The front desk always had helpful and available staff to help with any detail. Our (Royal) suite was large and welcoming. The bed was comfy, although the pillow menu was paltry. Towels were plentiful and good quality.

When l arrive l was treated with the best hospitality and Service. I love an old fashion bath tub. The rooms are big and l loved looking out into the canal. This location is perfect to walk to dinner and to jump on the train or tram to experience Amsterdam.
