Very nice hostel, I recommend it. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. I felt safe. Easy to get the city centre from the hostel. Only negative things were that it was quite expensive and that there was no kitchen.
The staff here were friendly, and the whole place felt very secure. There are several doors that require a key card to get up to your room, and I liked that.
The front desk had a lot of really nice conveniences. You can buy some...More

The easiest way (aside from taking a 45euro cab) is to take the shuttle, but it costs 17 Euros 1 way or 27 Euros 2 way. This is what I took because it drops you right in front of the hostel and is very convenient if your luggage is heavy. Another option is to take the train to the central Amsterdam station. From there you should find tram 14 that stops at Zeeburgerdijk. Its a few minutes walk from StayOK. Other means to get there you may check StayOK's website. But the above is based on experience! :-)
