Not a bad place to stay, a few minutes from tram stop, close to the museums etc. Good breakfast, we liked our room the goliaf room. I have dogs myself so didn't mind the animals. A tip to save you money, take tram 5 from the main station, get off two stops after the museum's, you can buy a tram...

It wasn’t my first visit in Amsterdam, but this time I stayed in the nice Bed & Breakfast of Xaviera Hollander and the next time I definitely will book there again! That made my holiday extra special! It was a big difference to the prissy places I stayed before! The host’s Xaviera & Philip are wonderful! I had a nice...

Xaviera is amazing. The first time that I stayed at her B+B I was surprised that she was really sharing her home with us. She's not always in town, so be sure to ask about her schedule if meeting Xaviera Hollander is part of your agenda. The house is a great place to stay regardless, and her staff is warm...

This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast so unfortunately I cannot compare this to similar businesses since I typically book hotels. I wanted to try something different and make the place where I was staying part of the experience of seeing another country than just another place to sleep. I am glad that I did as the...

The house is l guess a typical suburbia in Amsterdam I was shown to my room and the bathroom but to find someone's clothes in the closet and in the drawers was very eerie and strange to me but they belonged to author Xavier Hollander of the book the happy hooker who owned the property But I couldn't get my...

We have a very nice stay at Xaviera Hollander's Happy House. The chalet was a perfect place for our weekend in Amsterdam. Everything is close to the center (walkingtime 15 minutes) and the bus/tram only 2 minutes walk! Breakfast is ok and we have a very nice talk with Xaviera, she's lovely and very interested. Thanks for our pleasant stay...

I was in Amsterdam for work. The proximity of the exhibit hall and the warm welcome of the B&B made the stay very pleasant. The convivial breakfast allowed me to meet other professionals. The B&B is in a quite neighborhood. Nights are quite. A good restaurant is nearby.
