First time in Amsterdam, and was not sure what to expect. We arrived and were greeted with a smile and open arms, this is a very small hotel, and well taken care of. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean. It was warm for us so we kept the windows open for fresh air. We were not informed... More

Do not stay here. It is too expensive for the horrible rooms and unprofessional staff that we encountered. The rooms are hot, unventilated, poorly furnished, the beds slant down so you fall off of them in the middle of the night, and it was just generally unpleasant ; there was also a rat in the trash can on the last... Had a really good stay, the service was amazing. The staff was super serviceminded and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. Close to alot of bars and restaurants so you dont have to walk far to find something to do. Also there is a pokestop right next to it that is accessible from most rooms. We are definitely... More

I stayed for three nights in a small single room at the back of the hotel. Rooms at the back are quieter than at the front. Breakfast was more than adequate (cereal, fruit, juice, bread, meat cheese, eggs prepared for you) and served in a lovely room. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Esther. The hotel is walking distance from... More

How terrible! If I awared the room is in basement, I never booked this hotel. There was no information about the basement at all when I book, and the room was terrible as you see in the picture. I stayed there one night out of two inevitably and payed for it, but they even made my booking to 'no show'... More

The Freeland Hotel is in a fantastic location, just off the Leidesplein and less than 5 minutes from a main tram stop. You can get pretty much anywhere from here on tram and plenty of lovely walking opportunities and lots of amenities, cafes, resturants etc nearby. Its a two star hotel and the beds were comfortable and I had a... More
