Stayed here for 4 nights to explore Amsterdam on a budget. Good Location close to the Van Gogh museum and Iamsterdam sign. Close to a long road of shops and restaurants including mcdonalds which is open till 2am. About 30 mins walk to Red Light District (following the tram lines). Regular trams in the early morning for the airport and...

Room was clean and beds were comfortable, we were up three steep flights of stairs but that wasn't really an issue. The shared shower/toilet was clean too. Was expecting a hell hole based on these reviews but it was absolutely fine. Easy to get to - number 1, 2 or 5 tram from central station. Would stay here again.

I've stayed in a number of hostels but this draws the line! The staff were rude and unhelpful. We had to climb 4 flights of steep stairs to get to the private rooms on the top carrying heavy luggage. The room was noisy although on the top floor as it was facing the road where every now and then the trams...

We stayed in the 12 person room next to the reception desk. It was a very basic hostel but we thought it would be fine for the night. We left for the evening and when we returned one of the beds we had reserved was taken by another guest. We called the company to come sort out the mix up...

At first I was charged 5Euros for keeping my luggage at reception (I gave them knowing it was not worth).... Then the room was crappy very small... 2 power outlets for 12 people....I paid for the room in cash at the counter... More than that, after I left tamsterdam staying for a day my card was charged again the amount...

Upon arriving it was made perfectly clear, "hotel Princess" is no "hotel" its nothing but a hostel; what did you expect for the cheapest stay I've ever had in a foreign country? Nothing was particularly wrong with this place, the sheets were clean and super comfy, the staff were friendly enough and the showers were hot. all in all a...

Me and my friend stayed here for four nights as it was cheap. The location of the hotel is rather centre and you have everything around you. The room was rather small, we booked a private room, this was on the top floor with very steep stairs just to warn anyone. I disagree with anyone who says its noisy our...

We slept at this hostel 3 nights and it was not the best we had slept in yet not also not the worst. It´s average. The toilettes and showers are quite clean but good the better. The beds are clean but there is almost no space between the bunk beds. We had huge holes in the wall (I guess for...

Without doubt the worst place I've ever stayed! The websites and advertising are completely false and full of lies! There is NO common area, NO breakfast (complimentary or otherwise), NO computers, the wifi doesn't work in all the rooms, there's NO luggage storage, NO cafe and NO games room! The photos on the websites of these areas, such as the...
