I stayed in the guesthouse with a friend in January this year. It was quite a strange experience! Upon arriving at the address we were given, a man greeted us .. Into a shop. We were given our keys and he walked us a five minute walk to our guesthouse. At 11pm, in well below freezing temperatures, this was not...

A very good welcome for my arrival at guesthouse. The bedroom, the bathroom with shower and toilet, were very clean. Of coffee, chocolate and tea with a small bag of breads were available to me with an electric kettle. The bed was comfortable with warm blankets. A place to recommend, especially when you come to Amsterdam for work and sought...

Unfortunately, we had the opportunity to check two of their rooms at one visit. On arrival, Daniel, the receptionist informed us that our room was in fact not in the area we have chosen but much closer to the Central Station (Although they write in their site: "We have locations for our guests in the Prinsenstraat above the antique shop...

So close to the centre of town and so reasonably priced! The owners are lovely! This was a very good find as accom can be quite overpriced and overrated in amsterdam. We had been to Amsterdam twice before and have stayed in some truly horrible places for almost double the price so this was amazing. Set in the chic part...

Basic room located directly above the shop which was adequate for my visit. The best thing about the room is its location; it is close to Anne Frank's house and lots of charming shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. It is not located in the centre of Amsterdam but near enough to walk to, but this also allows it to be...

The guesthouse wasn't what I expected, it's an apartment rented by the guesthouse, very cute, clean, 10 minutes from the station, half hour walk or 9 euro cab to van gogh museum/central square. Where the guesthouse was located its gives a perfect opportunity to live like a local, see and feel the coffee culture in their beautiful surroundings. I'd stay...
