Stayed three nights over NY and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of this accommodation, and by the friendly and flexible nature of hosts Karen and Paul. After it looked as though weather would stop us reaching Amsterdam, the hosts even attempted to rebook the accommodation, saving us the costs - although thankfully it didn't come to this since the...

We stayed 3 nights at the B&B over New Years. It was the perfect location because the city center was crazy! The facilities are beautiful and comfortable. Paul and Karen made us feel so welcome. They provided extra touches like chocolates on the pillows and Dutch goodies to eat. The breakfast foods were plentiful and convenient right outside our room....

The location of the B&B is just excellent. Charming neighborhood on quiet, small street right in front of the canal, entrance to the Vondelpark right across and so conveniently close to tram stops of both lines 1 and 2 which can take you anywhere in the center in just a few minutes. Had it not been December or us not...

Stayed 3 nights Nov/Dec in canalside room which, although quite small, was warm, clean and made for a pleasant stay. You do hear people passing but this was not a problem. Paul was a very welcoming host who provided lots of information and we enjoyed the blackcurrant gin and chocolates. The cereal breakfast was quite filling (especially if you mix...

This place is more personal then a hotel, and the difference is in the details. Really clean room, a small garden only for our self, fresh flowers next to the bad, candy on the entrance and on the door steep. The personal was really polite and Paul, the host, gave us a map and great suggestions where to eat and...

My husband and I have spent our 3rd visit to the Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam and we will certainly be back for a 4th, 5th, 6th etc etc etc visit. Paul is the perfect host, there when and if you need him, but never in your way. A gorgeous walk to and through The Vondel Park (2 min walk from...

Loved this place. Had a very relaxing time in this peaceful area of Amsterdam. Room was great; spacious and very clean. Location is lovely, next to the canal and a short walk from Vondelpark and lots of good eating places. Very easy to get into the heart of Amsterdam in a very short time. We have already recommended the B&B...

What a perfect place for our family. Paul met us on our bleary-eyed arrival in Amsterdam and let us check in early (we have two little boys who were pretty fried from the flights), walked us through the ins and outs of the B&B and surrounding area, and was immediately available whenever we needed him. If I could dream of...

I wasn't sure what to expect in Amsterdam but was so happy we ended up staying at this homey, relaxing and comfortable bed and breakfast. To start off with Paul and Karen were patient and answered all my inquiring emails promptly before our trip. Once there, we received the same thorough orientation which is very helpful because there is a...

The room was clean, bright, well furnished and decorated. The private bath was clean and spacious. Small kitchenette outside the room was stocked with teas, cereal, dishes and small refrigerator with milk. Steps to third floor are steep, but that only mattered when bringing up and taking down suitcases. Excellent tip sheet with map of neighborhood, and an extensive collection...
