Stayed 3 nights in mid November at this very pleasant guest house. Paul, Karen and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Breakfast was left outside the room on a tray with legs and lovely and different each day. Situated close to Vondelpark which was a nice walk through to the main tourist area of Amsterdam. Bar/restaurant... More

On a massive road trip through Europe, our family of five randomly decided to stay at this Amsterdam B&B. (July of 2016) Well, we simply couldn't have been more satisfied! The welcoming was exceptional, the information about the city very practical and the complementary breakfast put a huge smile on our faces. Please do consider staying here; especially if you... This bed and breakfast is lovely , clean and very relaxing. We stayed for 5 days and each morning were greeted by happy smiling staff placing a continental breakfast outside the door. Internet and a Smart television were a great addition . Parrots playing in the trees in the garden room which was had fairy lights in at night. Paul... More

We stayed for 4 nights in Bed and Breakfast, Amsterdam. From the moment of booking, Paul and Karen kept in touch and offered advice on how to travel to their beautiful house. Paul was there to greet us and show us to our room. Our ground floor room and ensuite bathroom was pristine. Each morning we received a beautiful breakfast... More

We spent 5 nights in the suite on the 3rd (top) floor. Yes, the stairs were steep, but the view from the top was great, and the space in the suite was perfect for our family of 5 with an extra bed in the main room for my brother-in-law. View of the canal from the front, and a balcony at... More

My experience at the B & B Amsterdam was outstanding. The location is excellent. By train and tram it’s a relatively short distance from the airport. The train station is part of the airport and the B & B is only one commuter train stop and then two tram stops away. There is a restaurant with outdoor seating almost next... More

We spent a week in the bed and breakfast in September. Our room was in the back facing the garden, two flights up. The first flight isn't too steep, but the second is more so-so if you have issues with stairs, stay on a lower level. If you don't need to be in the thick of other tourists, the location... More

We had a light, airy, bright room facing the canal. It had plenty of space for us and our teen son. We loved the location near the Vondelpark and tram. We were able to eat right on the canal at a very good restaurant a few doors down. Loved having access to a refrigerator, plenty of tea and coffee and... More

We had a room facing the courtyard, which has its advantages. Someone on the block owns parrots and lets them out to frolic in the trees sometimes. Watching them was an unexpected treat. Paul did a great job of showing us how to get around town, good places to eat, how to navigate safely among the cars & bikes and... More

We stayed at the Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam for 7 nights. Paul showed us to our room and answered many questions about trams, restaurants, supermarkets, and banks that are nearby and easy to reach. He has a paper and map with all above information so that you don't forget. The room was adequate size with a very nice, updated, en suite... More
