What a lovely central place to stay. We had a quadruple room with a wet shower and toilet. Room was very clean and cosy. Hosts were amazing and went out of their way for us. I would definitely recommend staying here. Yes the stairs were steep but the lovely man helped us upstairs with our bags and back down again when we left. We had some time to spare on departing and he kindly (free of charge) made us cups of tea before we left for our flight. I would stay again with no hesitation.

Lovely hotel - large rooms with balcony. Friendly, useful recommendations and best breakfast yet, with little homemade pancakes alongside buffet spread. Near museums. Big Food Hall not far away. Thank you for our stay!

The hotel is situated on a quiet street right behind the concert building and not far from the Rijksmuseum. The city center can be reached by a 20 minute walk or several trams from the stop not far from the hotel. My room was clean and bright. I stayed in a single room for one night, had a shower in there but had to use a toilet on a higher floor which might be inconvenient on longer stays. The hotel offers breakfast as well.

Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Lovely family run Dutch hotel, daily breakfast 8 to 10am, big spacious yet cosy rooms. The ladies who run the hotel were very kind. Steep stairs though and no lift so people who need east access might find it difficult going upstairs. We got some discounts from the hotel for the canak tours. Also its located where all the museums are so walking around the area is nice. Main central Amsterdam is max 15 minutes on tram. I would definitely book again!

I have Stayed at hotel Verdi on many Occasions. It’s a Japanese family run hotel. Excellent location , friendly owners , They make me feel at home after my exhausted business trip in Europe. Hospitality was so good that they prepared me a take away breakfast for my train journey at 5:00 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to be back again .
