My sister and i stayed there at Christmas time and we thorougly enjoyed the hotel. Our generous sized room overlooked the park across the street giving us light and beauty. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The shower terrific with lots of hot water. The breakfast was well worth it. I liked the location....

Small rooms but just big enough for what we paid. Clean, fresh towels every day, breakfast not obligated. Good hotel if you want a cheap and clean place to sleep. Staff was friendly, although the room was unlocked after they made the beds. Location is very calm and beautiful but the distance from the center was bigger then we expected....

Located across the road from Sariphatipark, the hotel was clean, comfortable and relaxed. Great view of the park outside and within walking distance to the city tram stations. I'd definitely stay again

The hotel was very nice it was very clean. The breakfast was ok the staff were helpful with advice for getting around town and back to airport. The only problem was that one radiator wasn't working in our room but was given a heater and someone fixed it the next day but apart from that a brilliant trip

Getting what you paid for is not a bad thing either. I spent 2 nights recently, on a business trip to Amsterdam. The "cozy double room" promised was small even for one person. This is a 3-star hotel, worth 2 1/2 stars at most. Location is quite good as its in a quiet-ish street opposite Sarphatipark, less than 10 minutes...

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students.
