The hotel is located in an excellent area of Amsterdam enabling you to explore the highlights easily. Nice, big, comfortable room. Very nice and attentive staff. I would return to stay again at art'otel Amsterdam.
We spent six nights in an Iconic view room (number 1003) and from the moment we checked in until we checked out, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Special commendation to Alex and Milda during the breakfast service and to Sacha at Reception who assisted us in booking tickets to the zoo on my phone. The hotel is perfectly placed for convenient sightseeing whether you’re on foot or need to hop on a tram as they all leave from the Centraal station which is directly across from the hotel but a short five minute walk away. Our room was spacious and very clean with all the modern conveniences plus a very comfy Super Kingsized bed. Bathrobes and slippers and lovely Elemis products were provided, too. The shower is, hands down the best shower I have ever experienced in a hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Art’otel!…
My stay was amazing from the moment I entered the hotel to the sad day I had to leave. I was warmly welcomed by Gulia. I was intrigued with her statement that they are all artists striving to turn hospitality into art. I had a nice tour around the hotel. It was full of art and beautifully designed but this is not what made my stay the most memorable hotel experience in my life and creating an account to leave my first review . Unfortunately I could not make my trip to Koekenhof because of work. Returning to the hotel in a huge upset I found a bunch of tulips, bottle of wine and handwritten card from Gulia. Every morning greeting people with a smile and filling the huge lobby with her laughter. I am 61 years old and visited hundreds of different hotels. No one ever done something like that for me. A beautiful gesture from the best front desk worker who turned hospitality into art.…
Came for a quick stay over the weekend to get started on an early celebrations for my birthday with some of my dearest friends and was blown away by the friendliness and attentiveness by all the staff I encountered. From Gulnara’s perfect welcome to Brian’s help and positive attitude, you couldn’t ask for a better place to be! We also dined at the ARCA restaurant within the hotel and a special mention needs to be made to Pedro and Azedine who made what was an exceptionally stunning dinner more of an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to be back!
Accommodation near Centraal Station with best connections to public transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms and a very good breakfast table. The restaurant is also a good place for dinner.
This hotel interior design is horrible. It makes guests feel living in a spooky house. It is not a relax experience. Also there is no privacy on the bathroom at all. The hotel has no parking and luggage drop-off spot. It is not worth your money.
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly accommodating and nice. The rooms were fairly large and comfortable. The location was great!! Would come back and stay there again.
The Hotel is well located, close to the Main Station, very modern design. Friendly Staff too. We booked a Junior Suite which was big compare to other hotel room in Amsterdam, so that was the highlight, unfortunately, the room service cleaning was a bit disappointing, we asked twice (one at the reception in person and via digital chat) to clean our room (on demand) but the room was never cleaned, also there were not toilet brush...so if you don't have cleaning service at least a brush should be available...additionally, for 3 nights and 2 pax, we only had 1 shower gel and body lotion, no refill made. The Digital is handy but do not work 100%. I would still recommend this property.
This is my second visit after 3 years (last time was in Jan 2019), and everything seems to stay at least just as good from last time, but some small signs of wear and tear begin to show. For example, the scale in my room was broken, and the in-room wifi bandwidth feels kind of slow. Still it is a better than decent hotel for the most parts.
What a great hotel! Fantastic service - nothing too much trouble. Rooms were large and clean. We had a quirky room with some hidden features! We didn’t have a view but weren’t in the room long enough for it to get us down. Breakfast was excellent and the Arca restaurant was amazing - the food was out of this world. All of Amsterdam hotels charge a tourist tax and so did this one - this is presumably why the city is so clean and runs well. If we return to Amsterdam we’ll definitely book back into this hotel.
