As many others have said, it's perfectly located and most areas are walkable. The bed was great. Odette and her husband were super personable and were able to accommodate our milk allergies. We only had 3 days in Amsterdam so it was a bit rushed. Otherwise I would liked to have used the roof top terrace to relax a little...

Me and my sister stayed at this lovely place. The owners are super helpful and lovely people. Very nicely decorated studio apt. They clean the same everyday. Everything is close by just 5 to 10 mints walk.

We stayed three nights here, choosing it on the basis of other TripAdvisor recommendations. It really is a very well-appointed B&B - our room was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and bathroom to ourselves. Décor was new and fresh. Location is good, especially for the museums. Our hosts, Fons and Odette, were friendly and helpful. As other reviews point...

B&B Helmers is charming, well kept and a good location. The room was clean and it was so nice having a min-fridge stocked with delicious food. The location is great for visiting the museums and taking a short tram ride in to the city center. The neighborhood lacks some of the charm and ease of other neighborhoods like the Jordaan....

We stayed four nights at B&B Helmers. This is after I changed the dates of our reservation at least three times, due to us booking so far in advance and changing our trip itinerary. Odette was super nice about it and responsive. One of the times, I called her from NYC and she called me back from Amsterdam within 15...

Great location outside of the tacky tourist centre. Beautiful roof garden, excellent breakfast, and bed. Left to own devices, and very modern. A welcoming feel to the place and genuinely nice owners. Would recommend to anyone visiting.

Although the price tag seems initially rather high, at the end of our stay we realized that this place is great value: from the strawberries in the fridge, the spotlessly clean rooms, the lightly scented fluffy towels, till the very friendly landlady, this small apartment (3 rooms: bedroom, kitchen & toilet) made us feel very very welcome. There are many...
