This hotel is superb and I don't make this comment lightly. The entrance and check in area looked top notch and modern. The whole hotel smelled so good too! The room was so comfortable and spacious. I stayed there during my solo travel so the way the toilet, the sink and shower are set up wasn't a problem for me. The staff (check in and housekeeping) was incredible and professional. The location is good and walking distance to many parts of the city.

We stayed here for 4 days right before the Thanksgiving holiday and were thoroughly impressed by the hotel's design element, service and location. Andaz is next to the 9 District and on the Prince Canal and surrounded by beautiful boutiques. You know you are in an affluent hood. It is convenient to go to old town or most of the museum, or UBER is very convenient and inexpensive. The hotel itself is a Marcel Wanders piece of art, from lobby, common area furnishing, dining chair to the lofty celestial experience as yiu ride the elevator each day. It is an exquisite meeting of history and futuristic touch with wallpaper with the history reaching into present and onto beyond. Wandering the hotel, grounds and garden is a tease of curiosity and joy of finds. The room is open concept and tastefully decorated and as you live in it, you find it more and more convenient to get around (after the initial awe of "a sink basin in the room"). Even the light switches are integrated in a way to give the warm glow and functional lighting. Relaxing in the cocoon chair and watching the canal below and the beautiful and varying townhouses across is an envy of life. Service is impeccable to say the very least. Sarina checked us in and she was detailed, extremely effective and pleasant. Other staff were super nice throughout as well. Worth noting is how amazing the housekeeping quality is. Even in Ritz or Park Hyatt in the US, I often find turndown services lacking, but Andaz in Amsterdam really nailed it. They also park two carts in the hallway with daily essentials such as coffee pods, towels and water bottle, an efficient way to reduce service request to front desk. Overall, while all four days were rained on, Amsterdam was a wonderful part of our trip and Andaz is a huge part to that experience. Thank you. …

we arrived early from the US and we were fully welcomed to the hotel by all the staff they kindly had a room ready for us. The front desk Staff were kind welcoming us with coffee and water. Walking in this hotel from busy streets is like taking a deep breath and feeling calm and welcomed. will certainly stay here again.

Amazing staff!! Extremely helpful and client oriented. Great location that is quiet but walking distance to everything. Tons of restaurants nearby and personally suggest the Black and cafe George (make reservations if possible).

Loved everything about the Andaz. Perfect location, central but quiet neighborhood, attentive staff, funky (in a good way) room design and energizing lobby design. Food options for breakfast ranged from healthy to indulgent and, despite some active remodeling, the lobby and restaurant were still quiet and comfortable.

- It was an absolute delight to stay at Andaz. Smooth check-in process by Sarina who was very helpful and professional, fabulous rooms that had everything you could ask for. Super comfortable beds. Very clean, hip hotel. The layout of the room is unusual but functional. The sink is in the room itself. The staff was very good and pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was slow to arrive at our table.

Really loved our 5 night stay here. Perfectly situated in serene Prinsengracht; a short stroll into the shops and action of Amsterdam but peaceful and quiet. Excellent service all the way around. Really appreciated our early check-in. Lobby is small with comfy couches and tasteful decor overlooking the canal. Our king room on the garden side was beautiful and well appointed. Bed was super comfortable. Great robes. Didn’t love the bathroom setup of having just an enclosed shower with the sink in middle of room but hardly a problem. The free minibar was a nice touch, even if it just included a bag of popcorn, waters and beer. Great gym with good equipment and lots of light! Breakfast at blue spoon included with our rate was off the charts! A fantastic buffet of Dutch meats, cheeses, eggs, cakes, etc., with champagne on the weekends. And they encouraged you to order ala carte in addition to the buffet. No need to eat again until dinner! Would certainly stay again and hopefully someday soon.…
