We were strongly disappointed by client service provided by the hotel. Our booking for the room was confirmed since April with an opportunity to pay on the arrival day. On the arrival day the hotel made an attempt to withdraw the money from my card...More
We read all the reviews about the stairs but didn’t think they would actually be that bad. It was laughable at first then after the third flight of steep Harry Potter stairs we very nearly went into cardiac arrest. Got charged €140 on booking.com as...More
Could this be the worst hotel in Amsterdam? I think so...
It was scary, extremely noisy, dirty and a little dangerous to one's health.

On arrival faced with stairs steeper than north face of Everest, definetly not for faint hearted or disabled carrying a suitcase.

The Netherlands > North Holland Province > Amsterdam > Canal Ring (Grachtengordel) / Rembrandtplein
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws
include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.

Take the train from the airport to the central train station. From there, walk outside and get on the tram that goes directly to Rembrantplein. I can't remember which number tram it was, but it was very easy and convenient!
