The hotel was fairly decent. The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly, the other staff not so. The room was in the back of the hotel, a small standard room but quiet, clean and comfortable enough. Also an electric kettle with coffee and tea was available. The room had a big - shared - balcony which was...

My daughter and I were stranded in Amsterdam, tough times, I know, after our campervan broke down. We got a last minute booking here and what a peaceful, tanquil little spot the Atlantis is. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed & we were right in the city centre. Bikes are available to hire from the Atlantis which made...

Stayed twice already, situated not to far from town centre , nice cafes around the area, staff is friendly and helpful, offers a vending machine in the reception for snacks, public transport is available within a short distance, some rooms have a balcony, rooms are mostly modern

Room was a good size, with plenty of wardrobe space per person. Beds were clean, with fresh sheets each day. Bathroom was also clean. We didn't spend a great deal of time in the hotel, but the time we did it was a pleasant environment. Staff were friendly, and helpful to aid you getting on the correct trams there is...

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Situated very close to Sarphati Park and the trams to the centre or museum square. Away from the hectic pace and noise of the city, but lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Excellent place to stay and recommended.

We decided to go to Amsterdam on relatively short notice and I didn't get the chance to research hotels as much as I normally would. We selected the Hotel Atlantis mainly because it was within our price range. Upon arrival we were very pleased to discover it was in a great location and was a lovely cozy hotel. The location...

Ok so the room...beds were clean with fresh bedding each day. Bathroom was clean but with slight damage to walls. Towels were changed daily and tea and coffee also. All that being said we didn't spend much time in the room as we wanted to be out and about each day but it was a decent hotel with very helpful...

Stayed here with a friend in October 2015. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the main city (It takes about 30 mins to walk to the city square or 10-15 mins by Tram). The hotel facilities were great but considering the price that we paid, we expected a little more. Amsterdam is a costly city but...

The room (202) was clean, quiet, warm, and everything worked. The shower was easy to use, and the hot water was constant. The beds were very comfortable with new mattresses. Tea and coffee in the room was good, and the room has a split system air conditioner for summer. One small thing, the down-lights over the bed did not work....

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
