You get what you pay for with this hotel! The rooms are simple with bed and tv but I didn't go to stay in the room all day! The access is not for the less able with loads of stairs to access rooms but the location is excellent with it being 5 mins from dam square and other sights! There...

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Amsterdam. The location is in the central, Damrak. Walking distance to everywhere and only a few steps away to Amsterdam Centraal, Dam Square, museums, bars, restaurants and shops. Halal food is a few steps from the hotel (just in front of it). The room is small (like most of the hotels...

It's located in good location near city center and some famous museums and many Bar and restaurants but very small room, we had reserved one 6 beds room for one night, it's just suitable for sleeping and nothing else, room and beds were ok but bathroom door was dirty. Very small and dangerous stairs and can make trouble for emergency...

Very small hotel/hostel. Narrow steep stair well. Share bathroom ridiculously small, I had to sit on the toilet sideways. The shower is a bit mouldy with rotting wood and a funny smell. I was a bit overwhelmed and unsure the first night, however after that I slept well the following night. Staff are friendly enough, kindly held my bag after...

The room was clean and basic but exactly what you wanted and for the location of the hotel it's a fair price with tones of good place to eat right next door and a laundrette directly in front of it I would recommend to any 1

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
