我當天住了12人房,整體空間有點狹小,床位的下層非常的矮,很容易撞到頭,浴室的熱水會忽冷忽熱,不過住在青年旅館應該就不用顧慮麼多了,整體的感覺還是OK I live in the 12-people room for a night. The room space is a little bit too small and the height of down bed is not enough. But it is ok for live in the hostel with cheap price.

Wasn't too bad I suppose, was what we were all expecting to be honest and it wasn't too expensive. Was a little annoyed when I stepped on glass in the very small bathrooms and then even more irritated when I bought a bounty that got stuck in the vending machine. 2/5 for me.

I was quite happy with the standards at this hostel: good quiet location, safe and staff was very friendly and willing to provide information and help you with maps and how to go around the city. No frills hostel as you would expect, with great value for money if you are looking for a bed in Amsterdam. Recommended for solo...

All the restrooms were cold all the time, as there was no heating there and I don't know who the hell but someone always opened the windows when there was -3 outside. So eventually there was -3 in the inside too. It was the only flaw I could remember. It was very cheap though, and next to cheapness it was...

This hoatel is TERRIBLE!!! Definitely the worst I have ever been! Lets star with the beginning: the reception girls are super rude! (specially the blonde one with the nose piercing)... If you arrive before the check-in time, you are not allowed to leave your stuff because "there's no space" (which was a lie because I saw the living area all...

One of the greatest welcoming i had in my experience with hostels! I finally had a great conversation with the friendly receptionist "Issy" when i arrived. I even saved time because he is a local and he informed me better that can do a website or a tourist office! Then about the hostel, it was really great as well. All...

Firstly when you get to the airport get the train to city centre then get the BUS to the Van Gough museum. It will save you so much money on a taxi. Rooms were nice and the young girl and older man were SUPER friendly and welcoming and not to mention that beautiful cat! I asked to move beds though...

This hostel is cheap and well located, close to museums and staff is pretty nice. I stayed in a room with 12 beds, thinking there would be 6 bunk beds beds, but there were 4 3-level bunk beds, so imagine staying at the very top it's not convenient at all! There is no kitchen or anything to make yourself a...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
