I booked the superior double room which was brilliant. The hotel itself is about a 20 minute walk from the Centraal train station, it's in Jordaan which is a quiet neighbourhood with some pleasant cafes and restaurants to visit nearby. A great place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

The staff were all very nice and welcoming, they were more than happy to help when I needed a restaurant reservation as I only arrived in the evening so I was very hungry.

The hotel provides free snacks in the lobby area and also some free postcards which was a nice touch. They also sold nice pictures of nearby buildings, I bought one to take home.

The room itself was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a nice powerful shower.

The hotel has very steep narrow staircases, me and my wife were ok using them though. There is a lift, however this is very small (only me, my wife and a small suitcase could fit) so you may need a few trips if you have a lot of luggage.

When we checked out, we were given a small bag of treats which was another nice touch.

All in all, this is one of the best hotels I've been to and it came at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to return on any future visits.

We had a superb stay at the Linden Hotel. Our goal was to feel like we were living in the Jordaan for a week and achieve that we did. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better with a plethora of food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner in every direction, including a supermarket where we could pick up bits for our kids as needed. There’s even a huge outdoor market every Saturday that starts from outside the hotel. We had the family room for 4 and it’s small and basic, but perfectly adequate with all the essentials (including a daily stock up of stoop waffles which my kids loved!) The beds were comfy and it was also nice to have a view of the canal from our room. The bathroom was smaller than expected and perhaps not perfect for our 2yo, but we made due. Because of the situation with C-19 the hotel is not serving breakfast, but they allowed us to eat our own food at the tables in the breakfast area, which was a great plus on some days (the free coffee and hot chocolate a big bonus too). There are bike rentals nearby to explore Westerpark and 10 minute ride to Vondelpark. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel - huge thanks to the hotel staff for making us feel so welcome!

Linden hotel is lovely old building with bags of character. Tram stops a short walk away, and it’s just a 5-10 minute walk from Ann Frank museum. Rooms are on the snug side, but nicely decorated and beautifully clean. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee are on tap, and fresh pastries appear throughout the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and am already looking forward to my next visit.

I booked this for a surprise for my sisters 50th birthday to go to Amsterdam with the girls. Found this particular hotel on booking.com but after reading about it when to check on my trusty trip advisor and both had great reviews. Small boutique hotel situated a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam central station. It was on a corner so it was very quirky our particular room was for 3 of us and was triangular it was so lovely comfy beds tea and coffee making facilities and our own bathroom with shower. Whatever time of the day you came into reception there was always fresh complementary pastries crisps and sweets as well as teas and coffees. They booked cabs and recommend restaurants which they booked for us too. On our morning of leaving they gave us little bags with drinks snacks tissues and other bits for our journey home brilliant. I will definitely use them again and recommend the linden hotel.

Linden Hotel is located in the nice Quartier called Jordaan which is very nice and safe and only 10 minutes from the center or like 15-20 min walk from the central station. The hotel/room is very tiny but with lots of Charme and clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Free coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and sweets. It has a good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I visited the Linden hotel to celebrate my 60th birthday and the hotel is beautiful, the fragrance around the hotel smells so fresh and inviting. On arrival we were greeted with fresh pastries, Portuguese custard tart is my favourite. Throughout our stay hot drinks we’re provided free of charge and there was a variety of coffees and teas. The staff are so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great, beautiful bars and restaurants close by and only a 15 min stroll to the centre. The stay was everything I wanted and more. Great little breakfast place across the road

Thank you so much to all of the staff at Linden hotel! My sister and I stayed at the linden hotel for 4 nights and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The staff from the second we arrived to the moment we left were the most friendly, helpful and welcoming! They treated us as if we were family; always asking about our day, recommending things to do and making sure that everything was alright. They really made the whole holiday for us! The hotel itself is lovely and very authentic. The room was cozy as it was in the roof but had incredible views and everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to any friends, family or couple or anyone! It’s in the perfect location you can either walk or get a tram to everything in under 10 minutes.
Thank you so much Linden hotel ❤️

Had a fabulous stay at the Linden Hotel, it’s very clean, modern and in a lovely spot, close enough to Amsterdam Central without being on top of all the hustle.
The staff were so polite and nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to assist in anyway.
Hot drinks, pastries and snacks were complimentary all day and they even give you a bag of goodies upon departure.
Would definitely return.

Fab find on booking.com. This boutique hotel is cute, quirky and has lovely touches to help personalise your stay. From free tea, coffee, sweets and pastries, we received a little bag of goodies upon leaving. We found the area to be quiet, so slept well. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!

Cute little hotel, the décor is nice. We were kindly upgraded on arrival from a small double to a standard double room. No hotel rooms in Amsterdam seem to be overly large but it was perfectly adequate for 3 nights! We met various members of day and night staff and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hot chocolate was fantastic and we were able to take this up to our room, we also ordered a pizza delivery and the staff text us to say when it arrived and asked if we wanted plates/cutlery. The only downside is that we stayed in room 28 and the people above us were extremely heavy footed and were banging about very noisily early (7am-8am) morning and late at night (midnight-1am) the whole time we were there which was annoying as it woke us up every time but this is no fault of the hotel! I would just suggest, if you visit, to be mindful of how noisy you are for the other guests! We visited Monday-Thursday and it was very quiet outside at night time.

No it isn’t complimentary. But the coffee is so my husband would run down to grab our coffee. The little cafe right across the street is amazing for a late breakfast/early lunch.
