As already commented in previous posts the Hotel is in a good location in the Museum Quarter and it is very easy to walk to the main canal ring but if you prefer not to walk the tram station...

I stayed here for 4 nights in a standard double room, and although small, it was quiet and clean and had everything I required. It is ideally located in Museum Square with links to the airport and trains just round the corner. The breakfast was tasty and the bar had lots of choice. The best thing about the hotel though...

This hotel is great, me and my partner stayed for 3 nights and we had the best time. Hotel staff are really nice and they are always wanting to help you with your requirements down to booking tickets for attractions and restaurant reservations. The rooms are small, very small but that's part of the hotels look I think. Bathroom is...

I stayed at this hotel back when it was The Poet and all I can say is GREAT! This hotel is in a good location so it isn't very far from the hustle and bustle of the city. This was the last place I stayed after five very long weeks in Europe and inarguably the best. Our rooms were pristine...

Firstly, the hotel is about 50 metres from the Airport bus shuttle stop and that is outside the Rijksmussem, so close to some amazing parts of Amsterdam. It's not far before you see canals and I walked everywhere without using the trams. The street is quiet and parallel to the high end shopping street Peter Cornelisz. Like many hotels in...

The main advantage of this hotel is great location, close to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Rooms have interesting design. However, rooms are tiny and dusty, with horrible breakfast. Dear Alex_G32, Thank you for your feedback. My apologies for the condition of the room. It being cold and dusty is unacceptable and I will make sure my team will pay direct attention to this. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
