There was a steepy staircase in our room, leading from the room door to the room itself. It wasn't a problem for us but it can be a...

Whilst being very basic this hotel was nice and clean with staff doing all they can to help you. The breakfast wasn't all that so we skipped it on our second morning and opted for a lay in. We would stay here again due to it being so close to everything and the welcoming staff.

We always stay here on our citybreaks to Amsterdam and each time it just gets better. We were upgraded to Room 102 a first class room with a great view over to Centraal which was surpisingly quiet at night despite the main traffic route right outside. The breakfast with freshly boiled eggs and their delicious toasted raisin bread in their unique...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
