Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good and enough. The room was dirty. Hotel was under renewal, this information did not get from the hotel before reservation. Walls beetwen the rooms are very thin and every noise is audible from the other room. All night is going the tram which is very noisy. We could not sleep well. I...

We booked this hotel for 4 adults and this was for a 3 day break. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and should be shut down whilst the works are taking place. It is a health and safety hazard and i would not recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Amsterdam. Infact we were so appalled that we immediately rang around to...

I stayed in this Hotel in March 2017 . As soon as I have arrived in the Hotel the lady at the reception told me to wait as it was to early to check in and told me, in a very rude way, that I could leave my luggages in the storage ( never seen in my life such a...

When I first read the others reviews I thought people can be a little bit exaggerated, as other times I had read bad reviews and then the place is ok. NOT THIS TIME. I will say everything as it was, bad and good thing: We were 'lucky' and got one of the new rooms. They are currently refurbishing the hotel...

Couldn't wait to leave this hotel so I could put a bad review up immediately, it was that bad. Upon arrival we were told to go up an entrance which was like an entrance to an unfinished block of flats. Once in the corridor there were wood chips across the floor. The worst of it all was in our hotel,...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Belfort from January 28th until the 31st as we received it as a Christmas present from family. We were sceptical at first after reading the reviews online and it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing hotel to look at but the actual rooms are ideal for what we needed and we had next to...

This hotel is absolutely disgusting, thats if you can even call it a hotel. It was mine and my boyfriends first trip to Amsterdam, and I can hands down say that this hotel ruined the start of our holiday. The Belfort Hotel is a health hazard, the rooms are riddled with mould and rotting wood. There wasn't an inch of...

From reading the reviews I was expecting something from a horror movie. We got one of the newly refurbed roof (thankfully). The room was done up to a nice standard, cleaned daily. The bathroom was a bit of a nightmare as its also a shower room, the water did not seem to drain fast enough causing the bathroom floor to...
