I stayed for 2 nights and there wasn't much to write home about. I thought it was just ok for the price (€50 for 2 nights), though it lacked a few things that are just basic. There was no tourist information in the lobby at all. If you're a tourist in Amsterdam, you want to squeeze as much out of...

Id go more in depth but im trying to erase all grim thoughts of the 3 nights of hell i spent here. you sleep in a room with 10 people fair enough, pay 6 euros for towels (not provided), the toilets are a plumbing disaster, No lockers, Dirty unwashed bed sheets with crumbs, Bread with a jar of chocolate spread...

I stayed for 2 nights, long enough. The room was smelly, and at nights it was really hot. Bed cloth was not washed, it smelled as used (I can guarantee it was not clean cloth). They will charge you 6 euros for a towel, there is no soap, the bathroom is separated from the toilet by a small wall that...

the tooth fairy had left an empty pizza box under the pillow instead of some money... the bed was made before I layed in it so there was no heads up on the fact that the sheets weren't changed. crumbs all over the bed as you can imagine. when I told the reception they said they clean the beds after...

Very nice and cheap hostel in a very animated street. Well situated, you can take the tram, the subway or even have a walk from central station. A lot of bars, restautant, coffeshops and parks around. A very nice place for a weeknd

This is a very basic hostel to say the least. Slept in a room with 13 other people which was a sweat box-feet at heads and dirty brown pillows with unchanged bed clothes. This is only an intro. I had to sleep with my head beside the toilet door to avoid feet. There was one bathroom between 14 people which...

Location is the only good thing about this hostel. Staff overcharged us for our room key deposit. We explained what had happened but the guy at the desk would not refund us. He initially attempted not give us our deposit back at all. He then tried to return only 1/4 of the deposit. Eventually he gave us half of our...

I went on the craziest weekend.. when Amsterdam was hosting their annual ADE event (Amsterdam dance event) It was difficult because all hostels raised their prices and you couldn't get a refund if you had to cancel (which I tried because my trip had to change). However I think it was only because of that weekend event. The staff is...

A nice little hostel down town. Friendly staff, clean, free coffee 24/7 and breakfast included (white bread with various spreads). My only complain would be that there are no boxes/lockers for your stuff but you can get it stored at the reception. Sweet house cat
