This hotel is well located, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a full buffet of breads, cereals, yogurt, eggs, bacon, pancakes, rice, meats, cheeses, fruit and coffee/tea.
The price is reasonable for Amsterdam and includes breakfast.
Spent a long weekend her in the begining of July 2013 and found the hotel ideal. The location is perfect for the night life. I would definately recommend RHO if you are looking for a place to crash after a long day sight seeing or...More
My friend and I stayed here at the end of July 2013 and we could not fault the hotel. It's a perfect location right in the middle of Dam Square, about a 10min walk from the train station (it seems a lot longer when your...More
I stayed in this central Amsterdam hotel with my family in early May and I must say it was a nice stay overall. The location is unbeatable - right on the Dam square. Most major sights are within walking distance or a short tram ride...More
The RHO Hotel is pretty good when their fire alarm system is working properly. Good breakfast, good front desk staff, clean, nice lobby, great location. Both their elevator and their staircases are awful, so avoiding one by using the other does not work.

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some
less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
Hi, in the airport you can book a shuttle which I believe is €13-€16 euros one way for an adult. You pay at the desk or online beforehand and the rate is fixed. This is a option and takes about 30 minutes depending how many... More
Hi, in the airport you can book a shuttle which I believe is €13-€16 euros one way for an adult. You pay at the desk or online beforehand and the rate is fixed. This is a option and takes about 30 minutes depending how many hotel drop offs are before Rho hotel.
uber and taxi would cost more.
Alternatively you can get a train from the airport to Central station and then get a taxi or the short walk to the hotel. I hope this helps. Enjoy!
