The hotel is located really centrally, with only a short walk to the Anne Frank museum. The room was clean, although very compact. The stairs to get up to the third floor were very narrow and steep, which was ok for us, but if we'd had larger luggage or been less physically able it could have been a little tricky.

The hotel is perfectly located. It's near all places of interest and in a very calm district at the same time. The room was small (really small), but very cozy and very thoughtfully made. WiFi signal in the room was good. The stuff was very calm and friendly. And they had a very nice fluffy cat in the hall one...

I recently stayed 3 nights at Hotel Hegra with my two young adult daughters. The hotel is in a historic building in a great location on a canal in a safe and quiet area. We were within easy walking distance to almost all sights and a short walk to trams when needed. We had a quad room the first night...

I booked a four-bed room for my husband and I and our two adult children as we knew we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. It was cramped but we were expecting that so it didn't cause a problem. Hotel was really quaint, old style, typical Dutch architecture. Really narrow, steep staircase but once again, didn't cause a...

Clean well equipped rooms and a great location. We rented lovely bikes from the hotel for €10 per day. Owners Bart and Paolo were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay at hotel Hegra again.....

My family spent four nights at this hotel and we liked it a lot. We're a family of 4 and we stayed on the top floor in a quad room. The location is phenomenal and we fell in love with Amsterdaam exploring it from our safe and comfortable home base in the Hotel Hegra. I think it is important to...

Very convenient location on a canal, clean and friendly, but definitely not recommended for seniors or those with mobility problems. We were on the top floor, very narrow and steep stairs, which for me was a major problem at age 75. I was okay climbing, but when descending I was scared of having a dizzy turn. Once down at street...

Four of us stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The people who worked there were so friendly, relaxed and very helpful. Our room was nice and the en suite bathroom was good. The location is great - easy to find your way around and it is close to several shops including a supermarket and many restaurants....

Stayed here for 5 nights in Room 9 overlooking the rear of hotel. Room was very narrow with no wardrobe or drawer space but hanging rail for shorter clothes. The cleanliness and standard of decoration was very good and the toilet/shower room had been well refurbished with very good shower. The bed was very comfortable, but little space either side...
