Hotel Abba is a one star budget hotel in Amsterdam. Our goal is to offer affordable accommodation in a beautiful but pricey city. With simple rooms to simply sleep, we keep our prices low and instead of spending your money on fancy little toiletries, disposable slippers and a sachet of instant coffee, you get to spend your money on what really matters, Amsterdam! Breakfast is always included in the price as is the wifi! We're smokers friendly and do not have a lift.

I never expected to find a room with private bathroom and breakfast included at this rate. Basic, small, clean, top floor (yep), nice people, red cat - perfect. Add one or two hooks in the room to hang up a coat and I would have been even happier. Thank you 👍

We stayed 2 nights only, but for short trip this hotel it's a great place to stay. Breakfast is included, reception staff is super friendly. Our room was excellent, very clean and with a balcony, on very quiet courtyard site. Fresh towels are provided on daily basis, hairdryer, shampoo/gel are available too. As the hotel is smokers friendly, I was afraid that it will smell cigarettes in the room, however before arrival I have requested to remove all ashtrays from the room and they even offer to keep windows open. And they did! Hotel is located about 15 min walk from centrum, next door is a big supermarket and locals coffee shops. Highly recommended!!

We stayed at this place on our recent break to Amsterdam..we paid £245 for 2 nights a d breakfast was included..it's about half hour walk into the city centre which isn't too bad as there's so much to see on your walk and it's all flat!..the hotel was lovely. friendly staff room was perfect for what we needed, clean tidy bed was super comfy sheets were soft. toilet/shower room super clean we even had a hairdryer in our room!..there was a huge choice for breakfast in the morning so something for everyone (the muesli was the nicest I've tried) huge range of teas on offer. cheese, hams, toast eggs, cereal jams spreads etc.the hotel is even smoker friendly which saves u having to keep going downstairs they just ask that u smoke by the window.theres even a supermarket underneath the hotel which is perfect!..the only downside is the stairs .they are quite steep don't think there's disabled access..so apart from the stairs I really can't fault this place don't understand why it's only 1⭐..we would definitely stay here again! 👌👌

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and considering the price it is actually really good. The bedrooms are a bit small but the beds are good. Shared bathroom was ok, but only because out "neighbour" was really filthy, and that is not the hotel's fault. But every day it was clean and the staff was really helpful and nice. The breakfast was really good, with a lot to choose from. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars was because of hotel maintenance. I told the guy at the reception that our bathroom door was broken at arrival, as well as the bathroom lights. Nothing was done about it. Anyways I will recomend this hotel to everyone staying in Amsterdam on a budget!

What is the easies way to get to your hotel from the airport?
Hi, Bus 197 is an option, it will take you to Stadhouderskade/Leidseplein and it's a 6 minute walk from there. Total travel time is approx 40/45 min Another option would be to get the train to Amsterdam Lelylaan (which is one stop). From there you can get tram #1 to the 1e Constantijn Huygensstraat. This is approx 6 stops and the hotel is just across the street from the tramstop! Journey time if +/- 25 min. Please check out the following website, which gives you up to date travel information: 9292.nl/en/journeyadvice/station-schiphol-airport/amsterdam_overtoom-120-1/departure/2017-04-05T1845 You will have to change the date's and times accordingly. If you do plan on taking a taxi from Schiphol, please make sure you use the official taxi stand! There will be people coming up and harassing you to get a taxi with them. They will most likely rip you off and have done so many times in the past. The signs in the airport will lead you to the official taxi's. Kind regards, Sorcha Hotel Abba
