In the days leading up to our trip, the staff was incredibly responsive to my requests for information. We arrived early (6 AM) and were buzzed in by the night staff (remote service). We stayed in the Christiaan Huygens room on the top floor. Not an easy climb, but well worth having a top floor view. Very, very quiet. Every morning we ate breakfast with the windows open to a stunning canal view. The attention to detail in the room is unbelievable. The drawers beneath the bed each serve a function. One on each side serves as a nightstand with outlets and USB ports. One contains a pop-up coffee maker. One has a refrigeration unit. The others offer storage. It really does feel like you're in a mini museum of sorts. Breakfast was more than ample and something to look forward to every morning. The staff were all very kind and attentive. They helped us with reservations and travel arrangements to the airport. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!…
My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we did not want to leave. The hotel is beautiful and feels like you are staying in a museum but has all the modern touches you could want. It is in a great location. The daily breakfast delivered to the room is awesome. The spa at the end of a long day of exploring is amazing. Everything I mentioned above is great but what puts this hotel over the top is the people. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The workers truly seem like they care about you and that you have an enjoyable stay. They make great recommendations for where to eat and what to see. They answer all questions and take care of any request you could have. Just go ahead and book here and stop looking around.
Outstanding location, beautiful room in a historic merchant’s home, very friendly and helpful staff, just an excellent overall experience. Extremely glad we picked The Noblemen for our stay! Our room was the Rembrandt. It’s a few floors up and there’s no elevator, so maybe not a good choice if you have bad hips/knees, but if you’re ok with some stairs then it’s incredible. Giant copper tub, dual shower, great decor in general, and a *delicious* breakfast in your room each morning. I would absolutely stay here again. :)
We spent two nights at the wonderful hotel Nobelmen. It is not just a hotel, it´s an experience to stay there! The hotel is astonishing, and each room has its own theme. We stayed in Christiaan Huygens' room at the top floor (5th) with wonderful view over the canal, we loved sitting by the window and enjoying our delicious breakfast. Our room was very clean. The staff at the hotel is just darling, all helpful, polite, friendly, and eager to make everything perfect for their guests. They even carry your luggage and breakfast up to the fifth floor. As with an old narrow building like this one there is no elevator, maybee they have room on the first floor for guest with movement impairment?
Communication through what’s app was convenient and most accommodating. Thanks max! Groot room was beautiful, clean and unique. Breakfast is simple but delicious. They provide a to go breakfast on request if needed. They told us the closest areas for Covid testing and coordinated a taxi for us to get there the next morning. Also reserved a taxi for us when needing to return to the airport. Was there waiting for us by 3:45am for our 4am pick up. Be mindful the hotel doesn’t open till 7:30am so without a key you have to wait till staff arrives to let you in for check in. Hospitality is amazing here. Highly recommend!
