My husband & I stayed here, April 23 to 27. Originally we had booked the Swiss Select Room. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a City View Suite. That was a nice surprise. There was also a welcome note and bottle of wine, in our room. Another nice surprise! Didn't find the room noisy at all. This was our...

What a trip this has been ! And most of the credit goes to the Swissotel Amsterdam. I had read mixed reviews about the hotel but decided to stay there. A slightly delayed check-in was made up quickly by the free upgrade to the city view. Their brand new rooms were excellent with a view of the Dam square. Unlike...

The Swissotel, Amsterdam, was an excellent hotel. There staff were very friendly and helpful, and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite. The room was beautiful, well equipped, luxurious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location too, just a short walk to Amsterdam Central station. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location for self travelled like us, clean accomodation at the right place and ptice. We got 6 floor with a peekaboo view, extremely quiet (we stayed over King's day). Housekeeping service is somewhat uneven, sometime they left us compliment water bottle, most of the time not. Half of the time they put 4 sets of towel, other time only...

The location is excellent - close to station and Dam Square. There was a comfortable and clean room - good for the price I paid. Friendly staff. My room looked out on a brick wall. Hotel is smoke free. Breakfast seemed expensive so I went to another place. Staff were helpful in ordering a taxi.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days. I found the experience very pleasant. I was given the top floor corner room and couldn't be happier. The views were not spectacular but it was quiet and comfortable. I felt as if it was my own personal bunker. They have a great gym, office and nice little eatery. The location is...

Swissotel is well located in the center of the old city, but it's equivalent to being in Times Square, bustling, noisy neighborhood. You don't hear the noise in the hotel, I will say, they've created an oasis of calm. The room was comfortable and clean, but a bit worn. The staff are excellent and very helpful.

We stayed here in March for three nights and couldn't have picked a better hotel. Perfect location in the heart of Amsterdam within walking distance to all attractions. Lovely restaurant attached to one side, but many more in close proximity. Shopping and transport outside the door and ain railway station a five minute walk. Would certainly stay here again. Room...

We booked a "certified quiet" room. This room was not quiet at all, in fact we could understand conversations on the street below. When I contacted the manager, he came to our room and agreed that the room was not quiet but told us that we were in a city and there's no such thing as a quiet room. He...

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. First of all we would like to clarify that my colleague was in no way rude in her e-mails. We do have all the correspondence on file. On the contrary, as always, she was very apologetic, understanding and honest, especially in mentioning that we are in no position...

My husband and I stayed here in April 2017. We chose Dam square because of the beautiful and quiet café area. Unfortunately, there was a carnival set up in the plaza. It was very noisy, busy and the view was of the carnival, not the palace. This, of course, is not the fault of the hotel, but we will never...
