Great location....the building right next to the Amsterdam Centraal Station. But it is built over the tracks. Although the sound was minimal, it still existed. The room was clean but small, and did not have a mini refrig. The staff was very helpful.

Room is small especially the bathroom and there is no tea facilities in the room but you can buy drinks and some breakfast items at reception including hot drinks. It is clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Comes with a safe in each room.

Possibly the best location if you're travelling by train saving yourself effort when carrying luggage. Ideal if you want to explore the city as it's centrally located, easily accessible on foot. The hotel is spotless, lots of room in the en suite shower. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They printed my boarding pass for me & are always welcoming...

I stayed for 4 nights and by far, the location of this hotel is superb especially if you arriving Amsterdam by train. The hotel is located just next to the Central station, and very close to tram stations. Also the hotel is located in front of the most busiest street in Amsterdam "Damrak" and within 10-15 minutes walking you're in...

Recently stayed there for three nights. The rooms are okay, towels don't seem that clean. One morning I asked the front desk if I could buy stamps to mail a couple postcards. The blond dude scrunched up his face and said the stamp machine was not working but I could go to the station to buy stamps. I could tell...

Room is a bit small, but comfort. Wifi great but no mini bar or water pot in room, need to buy drink and food in supermarket. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Great location for a city centre break.

I stayed 1 night with my partner. The hotel was solely used for the bed & the great location. The hotel is right next to the train station, met stop, bikes & canal. The room was small & didn't have a great view (a platform of the train station). The staff were pleasant. I would back again just for the...

The location is perfect! Just a 1-3 minute walk from their central station, and a 10-15 minute walk from everything else! It was so convenient, especially taking the train to the airport. (We also took a daytrip to Belgium, which I definitely recommend if you have the time!) The hotel is nice, and so was our room. Our only problem...

Good to stay in for not more than 2 nights, as the rooms are too small. The good thing about it, is that you'll be next to the center station and few meters away from dam square where you can do a lot of shopping.

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
