On arrival, room wasn't clean! they wanted us to stay in the lobby until they clean it ! had to force them to give us another room. poor room service, they don't change bed sheets, towels, etc staff were ok .. poor breakfast. good location, nice city view, comfortable bed. price is ok,...

If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel, minutes from the train station, and right in the heart of the city.... this is your place. There are no bells and whistles here, just beds to sleep on. My family of 6 stayed in their family room (6 single beds assembled Tetris-style) in the room. The room itself was spacious enough,...

We've been at Delta Hotel for 5 days and it was not bad at all! Located between Dam Square and Central Station, staff at the reception very helpful and friendly, clean rooms and English breakfast with many other options like yogurt, fruits, cereal, toasts etc .. In the day I was there they put new mattress ! So now it...

For $205 Euros a night, you can get a room round the corner at least three time better quality, I mean 3 mins walk the next street over. This place is a dive, carpet threaded, ceilings peeling paint and low, bathroom to small to do what it was designed to do, go to the toilet or have a shower, bed...

because the room was fully booked, hotel only can only provide a room is not yet clean up, they said they can not provide other hotel rooms for me. Since there was already 23:30, I was unable to find out the other hotel, the night staff had immediately informed the call center to the local...

A. I wouldn't call this place a hotel. Some rooms look like a hotel and others look more like a hostel. In the room we were put in we didn't have room for our bags, we could barely walk on the floor. Windows were broken, electricity sucked... B. The guy who checked us in was too high to do math...

Clean, great location for station and seeing sights. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful apart from one unfriendly guy at breakfast. Room very basic, no kettle and no food allowed in room. Clearly had problems over the last few months which staff are open and honest about. I would not stay here again but it did the job for...

A basic hotel, reception helpful, booked two rooms seven months in advance but allocated one on 2nd floor and one on 4th floor; lift has graffiti in it; room adequate, comfy bed, shower room could have benefited from a grab rail, room was clean, linen and towelling changed each day; breakfast was adequate but more choice of meats would have...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
