I went there for my honeymoon with my wife. it ruined our vacation! well, when you first walk in, the hotel lobby & reception area looks very nice! makes you wanna see the rooms. but you'll get disappointed. very disappointed! there is only one small elevator for all the 5 floors. so you'll have to wait for it, sometimes more...

Location was superb, its all happening around the Rembrandt park square which is 2 minutes walking. The area is so alive, full of cafes, restaurants, clubs and tourism centers. Dam Square is 10 minutes walking, 15 minutes for the Red Light district and 25 minutes for the central station. You can take the tram from the same place to anywhere...

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The hotel is odd in a way because the public facilities are very good, an efficient concierge, a good lobby area, good large restaurant, good bar but the rooms are small. Bearing mind that we had two large suitcases and two carry on bags between us our room was so small we could...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review! Unfortunately we can not do anything about the size of the room! This size is standard in Amsterdam! After all we hope that you had a good stay and we look forward to welcome you again! Kind regards, The management

We stayed for three days mid-October- our first visit to Amsterdam. We arrived before our room was ready, but we were allowed to leave our luggage so that we could go and do some exploring! (The same applied when we left - we had to be out of our room by 12 noon, but as we weren't being picked up till...

I stayed for one night in September, due to my original hotel being overbooked, although I had also stayed in the hotel a couple of years ago. The hotel is fine, location OK, you can walk to Dam Square in 15 minutes and Rembrandt Square is a couple of minutes away, with a good choice of bars and restaurants. The...

The hotel is on a somewhat busy street and canal. The location is good if you want to be near the Rembrandtplein. It's not as convenient if you want to do things more central. There are a couple very busy bridges/streets to cross to get over to that part of town. The hotel rooms were an odd combination of old...

The location is very central to all Amsterdam can offer. The Eden has a welcoming lobby and staff. Our early arrival was met by a courteous staff...and our room was ready!! A welcome treat after our overnight flight from the US. The reservation called for a compact room, but we felt it was more then adequate. There was a nightclub...

Spent 4 nights here in Oct 13. Nice rooms, the ones facing the canal are the best. Easy public transport, but we mostly walked everywhere. Adjacent (100m) to Rembrandtplein with more than enough eating and drinking establishments. Best breakfast was at Cafe Luxembourg (1.2 km) and best dinner was ribs at an Argentinean Grill restaurant. Nice friendly service at reception...

A good 3 star hotel - reception area very nice - good staff - rooms are good too , but not to the standard of the reception area. Quite a bit out of the way if you intend to visit red light district or Dam Square (20 min walk ).... though right next to Rembrandt Square.
