Hotel was lovely, location was perfect very close to everything, staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, my only issue was the toilet and shower in our room, they were not in a separate room , only about a meter from the bed with a glass shower door, the sink was right next to the bed. We didn't spend much...

We stayed here in March with a couple of friends. The hotel is in a good location as it is not right in the centre of town but also not far from everything. The bed was the best we have ever slept in and only wish we could take it home. The one thing we didnt try was the breakfast...

Booked a double room but when I arrived was told they only had twin but could make the beds up together. But what i didn't realise was they would try to cobble together two old single beds that were different hights with a piece of old foam or something to try to hide the the state of the beds. Tried...

I stayed here in August with a couple of friends. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were friendly. There were fruit bowls around for guests to take from which is a nice touch. The location isn't very central but that was fine as we had a nice walk into the center of the city. You can also...

This hotel overall was amazing. Check in was super quick and the staff where very friendly. Also offered free Wi-Fi which is always a bonus. I had a room facing the Hard Rock Cafe on the top floor. The view was amazing of a morning and of an evening. We did have a different room at first, which was very...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and found the location to be ideal. Close to many restaurants and bars and great for places of interest. The room was a little on the small side and very compact but very comfortable, but we was there to see Amsterdam not sit in the room so we was not bothered. We...

Quite central location, Relatively large rooms, comfortable beds. The checkin and checkout quite efficient, overall good service. Downstairs there is a fantastic restaurant. Across the hotel, there are a lot of places to hangout including a casino. Price is also quite good if you book in advance. Nothing fantastic but very good in all dimensions

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
