First, the good bits: The Hoxton is perfectly located. If you don't mind walking, you can be at the Central Station in 15 minutes in one direction, and the major museums (Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk and Van Gogh) in 15 minutes in the other direction. I'm a big fan of good renovations of old buildings, and this place hits the right notes....

Pleased to hear you loved the location of The Hox along with our design and furnishings — you sure know your stuff, and we're glad you approved! So sorry to hear you didn't much care for the layout of the hotel; we pride ourselves on our inclusive approach and want our guests and our neighbours to come in and feel...

I can't say enough about one thing at this hotel: the customer service. Need a restaurant booking? They have them on speed dial -- even on NYE! You have a problem? They immediately answer your call. And there are, in this writer's opinion, still some teething problems for this new hotel in A'dam. We stayed 3 nights over the NYE...

We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to the team on the ground! Great to hear they had you covered and you had a fun NYE! So sorry to hear about the noise in the first room; we are aware of noise in a few of the rooms at the back and we are looking into double glazing...

The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful and helped with our restaurant reservations. THe hotel restaurant is pretty good too.

Stayed in Amsterdam more times than I can remember and I'm so happy this hotel has opened. For the price I can definitely say this is the best hotel I've stayed in Amsterdam. Perfect location next to Nine Streets. Super cool interiors and a great bar and lounge area. I love the room design with fun touches - even wanted...

It is in a great location and the room we had was lovely ,spacious, massive bed and a great walk in shower. Reception staff were very helpful .The one star failing being the confusion over having the room cleaned ,normally I expect to have it cleaned unless I put out the do not disturb sign - not here you need...
