We loved the location because it was off the main drag and much quieter and calmer than a lot of Amsterdam Central. There were a few great coffee shops and walking distance to everything we needed. We never used a tram or taxi the entire time we were there.
Great front desk staff, friendly and helpful. About a 10 minute walk to the train station. Not bad at all, but a little challenging if you have a lot of luggage with the cobblestone roads and bikes/people. Just something to keep in mind if you have a lot of stuff with you.
The downsides were: bed was incredibly hard (and I like a firm bed). The hotel had AC but it wasn't allowed to be turned on in April - so it was hot in the room for us.
The check in staff was very good and explained everything to us, we were able to leave our luggage there as we arrived early .
Beds were comfy and room cleaned every morning ,very friendly and helpful staff and only a 15 minute walk away from the main district.
Plenty of bars in the local area too if you want to stay local.would definitely book this hotel again .
"Make sure you close the curtains well at night or Sun will enter the room very early in the morning (end May staying)."Read full review
