My wife and I have stayed here 3 times when I have come to Amsterdam on business. Fleur and her family are as charming as can be, and great hosts. The room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Free Wi-Fi, easy walk to bus and tram stops, and located in a quaint family-friendly neighborhood. This beats a... More

Staying at Fleur's was an unforgettable experience. Her home is conveniently located close to transportation which takes you around the city. The street is quiet and enjoyable for walking. Nearby restaurants are great for lunch or dinner on the way to or from her home. Waking up to a breakfast of fresh eggs from her chickens, delicious cappacino, bread and... More

This B&B is a great place to stay. Convienient to Tram and Buses. Quiet neighborhood with nearby ATM, restaurants, and grocery store. Comfortable and clean rooms with flowers and attractive decor. But, as with all B&Bs, what makes this a great place to stay is the innkeeper. In this case, Fleur. Fleur, in addition to providing a delicious breakfast, is... More

My wife and I stayed with Fleur for 8 days and it was a real treat. We were greeted warmly and treated with hospitality. Fleur and her kids made awesome breakfasts each day--fresh bread, jams, eggs, and coffee--we miss it already. If you're wanting a sleek hotel, fancy Italian sheets and turn down service with a mint on the pillow, this place is not what you're looking for. BUT if you'd like to meet a dynamic innkeeper, stay with a vibrant, friendly family and experience life in a quiet Amsterdam neighborhood, you've found just the right spot! My daughter and I... Fleur, Coen and her kids were fantastic! Fleur is quick to respond to emails and always happy to answer any questions one could possibly have (and I always have many!). Upon arrival, Fleur was so warm and inviting, and it felt like we had been friends for years. My husband and I booked the upstairs room which has a shared... More

Thank you Fleur, Coen and Family for opening your home to travelers. My husband and I stayed 4 nights along with our daughter and son in law, and should have stayed a few more nights. Fleur's home, about 20 minutes from the center of town, is an original creation -- rustic and modern, city and country, spacious and cosy, and most of all welcoming. Vintage prints on the bedroom walls and a high, comfortable bedstead with lots of pillows lull you into an illusion of being in a traditional Dutch home. Then you open the... More
