We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel JL No76! The room was very nice, plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. Pillows not to my liking but you can't have everything! The bath and shower were great - especially the jacuzzi setting! The breakfast was great, loads of choice. All the staff we spoke with were polite and friendly....

Just left the hotel, it was brilliant. Get the 197 bus from the airport to Rijksmuseum and it's a 2 minute walk. Perfect location, the staff were very friendly and the room was great (we stayed in a standard room - it was great! Would definitely stay there again!

With an easy walk from the train station, we arrived earlier than expected. Instead of having us wait, the manager offered us an upgraded room at their nearby parent location, Hotel Vondel. So, I can't speak of the room experience, but the while waiting we lingered in the inviting and cozy lounge area. The decor is interesting and the self-serve...

This was my second stay in JL No76 member of Vondel Hotels. Excellent location in the Museumplein area and 10 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. Small cozy hotel with a homey feeling, very helpful and friendly staff and nice minimal design. Rooms quite spacious even for 2 persons. Nice Secto Design lighting. Shower and bathtub both...

Amazing Hotel! Gorgeous interior design and decor, very trendy but inviting. Great location close to art museum and shopping street, in a beautiful neighbourhood. The room I had, had an amazing bathtub, jacuzzi jets and a TV. The beds were super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious but not included in the price. Their food was excellent!! It was one of...

The room was spacious and is probably one of the first hotels I've ever stayed in with good temperature control. The bed was large and comfortable. It was clean and had all the facilities you could want. Breakfast staff weren't particularly attentive but the selection and quality of food was by far above average. I would highly recommend this hotel...

Stayed for 2 nights to sight-see in Amsterdam. Location of the hotel is excellent - very close to Van Gogh museum, public transport, restaurants, and shopping. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but efficiently organized and updated. The reason for the 4-star (rather than 5-star) rating is that the beds were soft and lacked support. Guests with...

The location of the Hotel is ideal for Culture Vultures! It`s just behind the Museumplein, with The Van Gogh Museum and The Rijks Museum within easy strolling distance. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
